About

Business Credit puts small-business credit-building education behind one connector, hand-curated and fully local. personal_vs_business_credit_explainer explains how business credit (EIN/D-U-N-S-based, generally publicly pullable) differs from personal credit (SSN-based, permission-based). business_credit_building_steps lists the ordered building blocks: entity formation, EIN, a dedicated business bank account, a D-U-N-S Number, net-30 vendor tradelines, a business credit card, on-time payment, and monitoring. paydex_score_explainer covers Dun & Bradstreet's 1-100 payment-timing score and what drives it. common_mistakes_checklist covers frequent early-stage errors, especially commingling personal and business finances. net30_vendor_concept_explainer covers what a net-30 vendor tradeline is and how to use one to build a payment history. business_credit_readiness_score takes true/false answers about a business's own practices and returns a weighted readiness score, a band, and recommendations. business_credit_glossary defines EIN, D-U-N-S number, PAYDEX, trade credit, personal guarantee, and more. General educational information, not credit advice.

Sources: Computed locally from hand-curated small-business credit education (building-block steps, PAYDEX mechanics, common mistakes, net-30 vendor practice) and a weighted readiness score derived from the caller's own true/false answers; fully local, zero upstream calls

What Business Credit is for

"How do I build business credit?", "what's a PAYDEX score?", "personal vs. business credit — what's the difference?", "what's a net-30 vendor?", "is my business ready to build credit?" — the small-business credit-building questions founders ask before they ever apply for a loan, answered as pure, fully local education.

What it does

personal_vs_business_credit_explainer explains how business credit (EIN/D-U-N-S-based, generally public to anyone who pulls it) differs from personal credit (SSN-based, permission-based). business_credit_building_steps lists the ordered building blocks: forming a proper entity, getting an EIN, opening a dedicated business bank account, getting a D-U-N-S Number, opening net-30 vendor tradelines, adding a business credit card, paying on time, and monitoring the file. paydex_score_explainer covers Dun & Bradstreet's 1-100 payment-timing score, what each range means, and what actually drives it. common_mistakes_checklist covers frequent early-stage errors — especially commingling personal and business finances — and why each one hurts. net30_vendor_concept_explainer covers what a net-30 vendor tradeline is, common vendor categories, and how to actually use one to build a reportable payment history. business_credit_readiness_score takes a set of true/false answers about a business's own practices and returns a weighted readiness score, a band, and specific recommendations for anything not yet in place. business_credit_glossary defines EIN, D-U-N-S number, PAYDEX, trade credit, personal guarantee, business credit file, commingling, and more.

What it is not

Business Credit is general educational information, not financial, credit, or legal advice, and it never looks up or accesses a real business's actual credit file or score — the bureaus (Dun & Bradstreet, Experian Business, Equifax Business) each use their own proprietary models this connector does not reproduce. business_credit_readiness_score produces an illustrative, rule-of-thumb score from self-reported practices, not an actual credit score. Consult an accountant, a business banker, or the bureaus directly for a business's real file and financing options.

Privacy policy

Business Credit — Privacy Policy

Effective 28 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What Business Credit is. Business Credit is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for hand-curated, fully local small-business credit-building education — building-block steps, a PAYDEX score explainer, common mistakes, a net-30 vendor explainer, a readiness score, and a glossary. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a glossary term, or a set of true/false answers about your OWN business's practices (e.g. "does the business have a dedicated bank account?") — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

We never access any real business's actual credit file. This connector has no connection to Dun & Bradstreet, Experian Business, Equifax Business, or any other credit bureau — it cannot look up, and does not ask for, a real business name, EIN, or D-U-N-S Number.

Everything is answered from bundled, hand-curated content and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all, live or otherwise — and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your business's name or identifying numbers, or any financial information, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None — the entire dataset is bundled with the server and answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Children. Business Credit is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Terms of service

Business Credit — Terms of Service

Effective 28 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Business Credit connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

  1. The Service. Business Credit returns hand-curated, fully local small-business credit-building education — the personal-vs-business credit distinction, building-block steps, a PAYDEX score explainer, common early- stage mistakes, a net-30 vendor explainer, a readiness score, and a glossary. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
  2. General education, not financial, credit, or legal advice. Business Credit is educational information, not personalized financial, credit, or legal advice, and does not access any credit bureau, lender, or real business's actual credit file. Consult an accountant, a business banker, or the credit bureaus (Dun & Bradstreet, Experian Business, Equifax Business) directly for a business's real file, score, and financing options.
  3. Illustrative scoring. business_credit_readiness_score produces an illustrative, rule-of-thumb score from self-reported true/false practices — it is not an actual credit score, is not produced by or affiliated with any credit bureau, and does not guarantee any credit outcome.
  4. General guidance, not jurisdiction- or lender-specific. Entity-formation, EIN, and vendor practices described are general US small-business practice; specific requirements vary by state, industry, and individual lender or vendor policy.
  5. Acceptable use. Automated use within the published rate limits is welcome.
  6. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
  7. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your query is answered from bundled content, and nothing is stored.
  8. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
  9. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any financial or credit-related loss arising from use of, or reliance on, the Service. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
  10. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.
