coverage_type_glossaryrecommended_coverage_by_business_typeinsurance_needs_assessmentworkers_comp_basicsinsurance_terms_glossaryBusinessInsure puts common small-business insurance coverage types behind one connector, hand-curated and fully local — nothing fetched, nothing stored. coverage_type_glossary explains general liability, professional liability (E&O), workers' compensation (with real state-requirement-varies framing), commercial property, cyber liability, and business interruption. recommended_coverage_by_business_type maps a business type (consulting, retail, restaurant, e-commerce, construction, software/SaaS, manufacturing, freelancer) to commonly-needed coverage with reasoning. insurance_needs_assessment computes a rule-based recommendation from specific yes/no facts about a business (employees, customer data, professional advice, physical location, physical products, vehicles). workers_comp_basics explains how much workers'-comp requirements vary by state. insurance_terms_glossary defines premium, deductible, claims-made vs. occurrence, and more. General educational information, not insurance advice or a quote, and not a substitute for a licensed insurance professional.
Sources: Computed locally / hand-curated small-business-insurance educational reference (coverage-type explanations, business-type-to-coverage mapping, needs-assessment rule set, glossaries); fully local, zero upstream calls. General education, not insurance advice or a quote.

"What's the difference between general liability and E&O", "does a consulting business need workers' comp", "what insurance does a restaurant typically need", "is workers' comp required in every state" — the plain-language questions a small-business owner has before ever calling an insurance agent. BusinessInsure answers them from a hand-curated, fully local reference — no upstream calls, no quotes, nothing stored.
BusinessInsure is general educational information about common small-business insurance coverage types. It is NOT insurance advice and NOT a quote. It does not know your state's specific requirements or your business's actual risk profile. Always confirm coverage decisions with a licensed insurance professional in your state.
coverage_type_glossary explains the core coverage types — general liability, professional liability
(Errors & Omissions), workers' compensation (with real state-requirement-varies framing), commercial
property, cyber liability, and business interruption. recommended_coverage_by_business_type maps a
business type (consulting, retail, restaurant, e-commerce, construction, software/SaaS, manufacturing,
freelancer) to the coverage types commonly needed for it, with reasoning.
insurance_needs_assessment takes specific yes/no facts about a business (employees, customer data,
professional advice, a physical location, physical products, business vehicles) and computes a rule-based
recommended-coverage list from those facts — useful for a business that spans more than one category.
workers_comp_basics explains workers' compensation and how much its requirements genuinely vary by
state. insurance_terms_glossary defines general terms like premium, deductible, and claims-made vs.
occurrence.
Not insurance advice, not a quote, and not a substitute for a licensed insurance professional who knows your state's specific requirements and your business's actual situation. It does not know your state's exact workers'-comp threshold, cannot evaluate your specific risk, and does not bind, sell, or recommend any specific insurer or policy.

What BusinessInsure is. BusinessInsure is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for small-business-insurance educational content: coverage-type explanations, a business-type-to-coverage reference, a needs-assessment tool, and glossaries. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup or calculation. BusinessInsure is general education, NOT insurance advice and NOT a quote.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a coverage-type or glossary-term name, a business type, or a handful of yes/no facts about a business (e.g. whether it has employees or handles customer data) — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs. We never receive your actual business name, address, industry classification codes, or any real policy or claims information.
Everything is computed on our server and nothing is stored. Every response is drawn from hand-curated, bundled reference content or a transparent local rule evaluation; no request is forwarded to any third party — there is no insurer, carrier, or quoting integration of any kind — and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant or any information that identifies your actual business or its real insurance status, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — every tool is computed locally, and there is no integration with any insurance carrier, broker, or quoting platform. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. For users in California, the EU/UK and elsewhere, our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. BusinessInsure is a general-audience service for business owners and other adults; we knowingly collect no personal data from anyone.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
Effective 28 September 2026. These terms govern use of the BusinessInsure connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").
workers_comp_basics and every other tool describe general,
cross-state patterns only — they do NOT contain your state's actual statute or requirement, and you must
confirm the specific rule that applies to your business with your state's own agency or a licensed
professional.insurance_needs_assessment and recommended_coverage_by_business_type compute a starting-point
suggestion from the limited facts you provide. They cannot evaluate your business's actual risk, claims
history, or state-specific requirements, and are not a substitute for a licensed insurance professional's
review.Email agent@connectorbay.com. We answer within two business days.
