A cruise-line-agnostic packing checklist, planning guide, and onboard budget calculator

Real questions, and the tools your agent calls to answer them.
packing_checklistembarkation_tipsshore_excursion_tipsformal_night_guidecabin_typesseasickness_preponboard_budget_plannergratuities_calculatordrink_package_breakevencruisekit_glossaryCruise Kit is a fully local, cruise-line-agnostic packing/planning checklist and onboard budgeting calculator. packing_checklist builds a categorized list scaled by cruise length, climate and formal-night preference. embarkation_tips and shore_excursion_tips give general boarding-day and port-day advice. formal_night_guide explains typical dress-code tiers; cabin_types compares interior/oceanview/balcony/suite. seasickness_prep gives non-diagnostic general tips. onboard_budget_planner splits a total extra-spending budget across typical categories. gratuities_calculator multiplies a per-day rate by length and guest count. drink_package_breakeven computes how many drinks a day a beverage package needs to pay for itself. cruisekit_glossary defines muster drill, all-aboard time, tender port and more. No real cruise line names, ship names or prices are referenced anywhere; keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls; nothing stored.
Sources: Hand-curated from widely published, general cruise-planning practice; platform- and cruise-line-agnostic by design. Budget, gratuity and drink-package figures are computed locally from user-supplied numbers, never looked up from any cruise line's published pricing. Fully local, zero upstream calls.
The publisher, Unify Dynamics LLC, states that tool inputs are processed in memory and not retained.

"Help me pack for a 7-day Caribbean cruise", "is the drinks package worth it?", "what's the difference between an interior and balcony cabin?" — the planning and packing side of a cruise, worked out generically so it applies whichever line you're actually sailing.
packing_checklist builds a categorized packing list — clothing, documents, electronics, health/comfort, misc —
scaled sensibly by cruise length and climate, with optional smart-casual/formal attire for elegant nights.
embarkation_tips and shore_excursion_tips give general, cruise-line-agnostic advice for boarding day (check-in
windows, day-bag packing, the muster drill, all-aboard timing) and port days (ship-booked vs independent
excursions, tender ports, timing buffers). formal_night_guide explains the typical dress-code tiers cruise lines
use, from casual to elegant/formal to optional theme nights. cabin_types compares interior, oceanview, balcony
and suite categories in general terms. seasickness_prep gives non-diagnostic tips (cabin location, ginger,
acupressure wristbands, fresh air) and is explicit that anything medication-related is a question for a pharmacist
or doctor, not a packing checklist.
Three tools are genuine calculators, not reference lookups. onboard_budget_planner takes a total extra-spending
budget you provide and splits it across typical categories (gratuities, drinks, excursions, dining, wifi, extras,
laundry) using typical spending shares — a starting allocation, not a prediction. gratuities_calculator
multiplies a per-day rate you supply by cruise length and guest count. drink_package_breakeven computes exactly
how many drinks a day you'd need for a beverage package to pay for itself against pay-as-you-go pricing, given the
package price and an average drink price. cruisekit_glossary defines the jargon — muster drill, all-aboard time,
tender port, beverage package, and more.
Not tied to any real cruise line, ship, or published fare — every number in the budget/gratuity/drink-package tools comes from what you supply, computed locally, never looked up. Dress codes, cabin inclusions, gratuity rates and package terms vary meaningfully by cruise line (and sometimes by ship), so treat the general guidance here as a starting point and confirm specifics with your own line before you sail. The seasickness tips are general and non-diagnostic — they don't recommend a specific medication or dosage, and anything beyond mild discomfort is a question for the ship's medical center or your own doctor.

What Cruise Kit is. Cruise Kit is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a hand-curated, fully local cruise packing/planning guide and onboard budgeting calculator. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup or calculation.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a cruise length, a climate, a budget figure, a gratuity rate, or drink-pricing numbers — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs. We do not ask for or need your name, cruise line, ship name, or booking details to answer any of these questions.
Everything is answered from a bundled, hand-curated reference file and computed locally, and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all, live or otherwise — and no query, including any budget figures you provide, is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — the entire dataset is bundled with the server and every calculation runs locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. Cruise Kit is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
