About

Digital Nomad is a fully local, web-verified reference of countries currently offering a digital nomad visa or comparable remote-work residence permit. country_lookup gives one country's program name, approximate minimum-income threshold, duration, and key notes across 29+ countries and territories spanning Europe, the Americas, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean. list_all_countries lists every entry, optionally filtered by region; region_list shows every region with a count. search_countries does a keyword search. compare_countries puts several programs side by side. filter_by_max_annual_income lists programs at or under a stated annual income figure, as a rough filtering heuristic over hand-curated text, not a precise conversion. general_eligibility_checklist covers requirements common across most programs. tax_residency_note explains that holding a digital nomad visa is not the same as tax residency, covering the general '183-day rule' norm and its caveats. visa_glossary defines terms like minimum income threshold and path to residency. This is a fast-changing, real policy area: every figure is approximate and dated, and must be reverified with the destination's official source before applying. Not immigration, legal, or tax advice. Keyless; zero upstream calls at request time; nothing stored.

Sources: Web-verified via WebSearch/WebFetch against multiple current (September 2026) digital-nomad-visa trackers, cross-checked, plus well-established official program facts (e.g. Portugal's 4x-minimum-wage rule, Spain's 200%-SMI threshold, Croatia's non-renewability, Thailand's LTR income tiers, Japan's 6-month non-consecutive program). Every figure is approximate and dated; reverify officially before applying. Fully local; zero upstream calls at request time.

What Digital Nomad is for

"Which countries have a digital nomad visa?", "what's the income requirement for Portugal's?", "does this visa make me a tax resident?" — a web-verified reference of real, current digital-nomad and remote-work visa programs, built and re-checked because this is a genuinely fast-moving policy area, not something to answer from memory alone.

What it does

country_lookup gives one country's program name, approximate minimum-income threshold, duration, and key notes, across 29+ countries and territories spanning Europe, the Americas, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the Caribbean. list_all_countries lists every entry, optionally filtered by region; region_list shows every region with a count. search_countries does a keyword search. compare_countries puts several programs side by side. filter_by_max_annual_income lists programs at or under a stated annual income figure, as a rough filtering heuristic. general_eligibility_checklist covers what most programs require in common. tax_residency_note explains that holding a visa is not the same as tax residency, and covers the general "183-day rule" norm. visa_glossary defines terms like minimum income threshold and path to residency.

What it is not

Every figure here is approximate and dated as of the stated verification date — digital nomad visa programs change income thresholds, durations, and even existence fairly often. This is not immigration or legal or tax advice: always confirm current requirements directly with the destination's official immigration/consular source before making plans or applying, and consult a qualified professional for anything tax-related.

Digital Nomad — Privacy Policy

Effective 26 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What Digital Nomad is. Digital Nomad is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a hand-curated, web-verified digital-nomad-visa reference — country lookups, region browsing, comparisons, income filtering, an eligibility checklist, and a tax-residency explainer. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a country name, a region, a search keyword, a list of countries to compare, an income figure, or a glossary term — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Everything is answered from a bundled, hand-curated reference file and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all, live or otherwise, at request time — and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, your citizenship, your income, or any real visa-application data, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None — the entire dataset is bundled with the server and answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Children. Digital Nomad is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Terms of service

Digital Nomad — Terms of Service

Effective 26 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Digital Nomad connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

  1. The Service. Digital Nomad returns a hand-curated, web-verified reference of countries currently offering a digital nomad visa or comparable remote-work residence permit — approximate income thresholds, durations, key conditions, a general eligibility checklist, and a tax-residency explainer. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
  2. Not immigration, legal, or tax advice. Digital Nomad is a general information reference, not an immigration consultancy, law firm, or tax advisor, and does not provide legal, immigration, or tax advice for any specific person's circumstances. Every income, duration, and eligibility figure is approximate and dated as of the verification date stated in the Service's own data — the traveler is solely responsible for verifying current, exact requirements with the destination's official government or embassy source before applying.
  3. Fast-changing subject matter. Digital nomad visa programs are a real and rapidly evolving policy area. Programs, thresholds, and durations can change, be suspended, or be replaced without notice, and this Service may not reflect the most recent change at any given moment.
  4. Acceptable use. Automated use within the published rate limits is welcome.
  5. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
  6. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your query is answered from a bundled reference file, and nothing is stored.
  7. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
  8. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the Service — including a denied visa application, unexpected tax liability, or any decision made without independently verifying current official requirements. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
  9. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.
