India SMB Rules Change Log
A dated, cited log of Indian rule and rate changes that affect small businesses (GST slabs, UPI MDR, TReDS, income-tax) so a scheduled agent can report what changed since last Monday
Risk-adjusted emergency-fund sizing and a real savings timeline — all local

Real questions, and the tools your agent calls to answer them.
emergency_fund_targetsavings_timeline_projectoressential_expenses_checklistemergencyfund_glossaryEmergencyFund answers the emergency-fund sizing question with a documented scoring rule instead of a guess. Sizing: starts from the commonly cited 3-month baseline and adds fixed points for real risk factors (a single income earner, job stability, each dependent, variable/irregular income), clamped to the commonly cited 3-12 month range, with every point itemized in the response. Timeline: given a target amount, current savings, a monthly contribution, and an optional interest rate, runs a real month-by-month compounding loop to compute exactly how many months until the target is reached. Reference: a checklist of what should (and should not) count as an essential expense when sizing the fund, and a glossary covering HYSA, liquidity, income stability, and more. General educational guidance, not financial advice.
Sources: Documented, fixed scoring rule (common CFP/financial-planning guidance on emergency-fund sizing) and standard compound-growth formulas — self-contained, no dated tax tables. Computed locally; fully local, zero upstream calls.
The publisher, Unify Dynamics LLC, states that tool inputs are processed in memory and not retained.

"How many months of expenses should I save with $4,000 essential expenses, single income, two kids", "how long to save $18,000 with $3,000 saved and $500/month at 4% interest", "what counts as an essential expense" — the questions people ask before they start (or resize) an emergency fund. EmergencyFund answers them with a documented scoring rule and real compound-growth arithmetic — no upstream calls, no accounts, nothing stored.
Risk-adjusted sizing. Starts from the commonly cited 3-month baseline and adds fixed, documented points for real risk factors: a single income earner (+1.5 months, since there's no second paycheck to fall back on), job stability (+1.0 moderate / +2.5 unstable, for contract, at-will, at-risk-industry, or recent-hire situations), +0.5 months per dependent, and +1.5 for variable/irregular income (commission, freelance, seasonal, tips) — then clamps the total to the commonly cited 3-12 month range. Every point added is itemized in the response, so the recommendation is never a black box or a random number.
Savings timeline. Given a target amount, current savings, a monthly contribution, and an optional annual interest rate, runs a real month-by-month compounding loop (not a rough division) to compute exactly how many months until the target is reached — correctly handling the already-met case and the case where, with no contribution and no interest, the target would never be reached.
Essential expenses checklist. What should (housing, utilities, groceries, minimum debt payments, insurance, basic transportation, dependent care) and should not (dining out, entertainment, travel, extra debt payments) count toward the number used to size the fund — an emergency fund covers survival, not a full lifestyle budget.
Glossary. Plain-language definitions: emergency fund, essential expenses, high-yield savings account (HYSA), liquidity, income stability, dual income household, sinking fund vs. emergency fund.
Not personalized financial advice. The scoring rule is a documented, fixed rule of thumb, not a substitute for a financial advisor who knows your full picture (other assets, health coverage, family support, local job market). The savings-timeline projector assumes a single flat interest rate for the whole period — fine for a high-yield savings account, not a substitute for investment planning (a fund's liquidity, not growth, is the point).

What EmergencyFund is. EmergencyFund is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for emergency-fund sizing and savings-timeline calculations. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the numbers needed for that one calculation.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a monthly expenses figure, income/household risk factors (income earners, job stability, number of dependents, whether income is variable), and savings figures (current savings, monthly contribution, target amount, an interest rate) — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
Everything is computed on our server and nothing is stored. Every calculation uses a fixed, documented scoring rule and standard compound-growth formulas computed from the numbers you provide; no request is forwarded to any third party, and no query — including any expense, income, or savings figure you enter — is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, bank account information, or any other identifying information, and we do not build a financial profile from your queries: each calculation is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — every tool is computed locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. For users in California, the EU/UK and elsewhere, our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. EmergencyFund is a general-audience service for adults; we knowingly collect no personal data from anyone.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
