About

Emergencyworld is a hand-curated worldwide directory of real emergency telephone numbers. emergency_numbers gives one country's police, fire, ambulance and unified general number (where one exists) plus usage notes. numbers_by_region lists every covered country's numbers in a region (Europe, Americas, Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Africa). compare_countries lines up several countries side by side. which_uses_number shows every covered country using a given number and for what service — useful for checking whether 911 means anything outside North America. countries_with_unified_number lists countries where one number covers everything. regions_list and countries_list show this reference's coverage: 69 countries, not every country in the world. dialing_facts explains broader patterns — the EU's shared 112, the spread of 911 across the Americas, the Commonwealth's 999, and the 112 fallback built into most mobile phones. general_safety_tips gives practical, non-country-specific advice for calling for help while travelling. General reference cross-checked between public sources, not a live feed — numbers occasionally change; always confirm the correct number locally in a genuine emergency. Keyless; fully local; nothing stored.

Sources: Hand-curated from Wikipedia's 'List of emergency telephone numbers' and a second independent published emergency-number directory, cross-checked against each other and spot-verified via web search in September 2026; general reference, not a live feed — always confirm locally in a genuine emergency

What Emergency World is for

"What's the emergency number in Japan?", "does 911 mean anything in the UK?", "which countries in Europe use 112?" — a fast, worldwide answer to the question you don't want to be searching for mid-emergency.

What it does

emergency_numbers gives one country's police, fire, and ambulance numbers, plus a unified general number (like 112, 911 or 999) where one exists, and any usage notes. numbers_by_region lists every covered country in a region — Europe, Americas, Asia-Pacific, Middle East, Africa. compare_countries lines up several countries side by side. which_uses_number flips the lookup: given a number, which covered countries use it and for what service — handy for checking whether the number you know from home does anything where you are now. countries_with_unified_number lists the countries where a single number covers everything instead of separate lines per service. regions_list and countries_list are honest about coverage: 69 countries across every populated region, not an exhaustive list of every country on Earth. dialing_facts explains the bigger picture — the EU's shared 112, the spread of 911 across the Americas, the Commonwealth's 999, and the fact that most mobile phones will attempt to route a 112 call to local emergency services even outside Europe, as a built-in handset fallback. general_safety_tips covers practical advice that applies no matter where you are: learning the number on arrival, knowing your exact location, and what to say first.

What it is not

A cross-checked general reference, not a live feed and not a guarantee. Emergency numbers occasionally change, some countries run old and new numbers in parallel, and mobile routing can differ from landline routing in a handful of places. In a genuine emergency, confirm the correct number locally — hotel staff, airport signage, an official government source — rather than relying solely on this tool.

Emergency World — Privacy Policy

Effective 26 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What Emergency World is. Emergency World is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a hand-curated worldwide directory of emergency telephone numbers — lookups, region browsing, comparisons, reverse lookup by number, a unified-number shortlist, dialing facts and safety tips. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a country name, a region name, an emergency number, or a list of countries to compare — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Everything is answered from a bundled, hand-curated reference file and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all, live or otherwise — and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything. We have no way to know if or when you have an actual emergency; this Service never contacts, dispatches, or relays anything to any emergency responder.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, or your location — only the country/region/number text you or your assistant type into a lookup. We do not build a profile from your queries. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None — the entire dataset is bundled with the server and answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Children. Emergency World is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Terms of service

Emergency World — Terms of Service

Effective 26 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Emergency World connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

  1. The Service. Emergency World returns a hand-curated worldwide directory of real emergency telephone numbers — police, fire, ambulance, and any unified general number — for 69 countries, plus comparisons, region browsing, reverse lookup, a unified-number shortlist, dialing facts and general safety tips. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
  2. NOT an emergency service. This Service does not contact, dispatch, or relay anything to any police, fire, ambulance, or other emergency responder. It is an informational reference only. If you have an actual emergency, dial the appropriate number directly using the fastest method available to you.
  3. General reference, not a live or guaranteed feed. Content is cross-checked between independent public sources as of the build date stated in the Service's own data. Emergency numbers occasionally change, and a small number of countries run legacy numbers in parallel with newer ones. We do not guarantee that any number returned by this Service is currently correct or complete for every situation — always confirm locally before you need it.
  4. Acceptable use. Automated use within the published rate limits is welcome.
  5. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
  6. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your query is answered from a bundled reference file, and nothing is stored.
  7. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
  8. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the Service — including reliance on an incorrect or outdated emergency number in a genuine emergency. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
  9. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.
