About

First Date Safety is a fully local, hand-curated reference of practical, non-alarmist safety-planning tips for meeting someone new. tip_info gives one tip's full detail; tip_search searches by keyword; tips_by_category lists every tip in one of five categories (Before the Date, Choosing a Location, Telling Someone & Check-ins, Transportation, During the Date), and category_list shows them all with counts. find_tip_for_situation suggests 1-4 tips for a plain-language situation like 'meeting someone from a dating app' or 'want to leave a date early'. safety_checklist gives a shortlist of the most essential planning tips. check_in_plan builds a simple, ready-to-use check-in structure (who to tell, what to share, message ideas). location_ideas suggests good types of public meeting spots for a setting (daytime/casual, evening, activity-based, quick/low-pressure). glossary defines a few practical terms — public meeting spot, soft exit, check-in call, video-call vetting. This is ordinary, common-sense planning — most first dates go fine, and every tip here is framed as a routine habit, never as a warning that something bad is likely. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls; nothing stored.

What First Date Safety is for

"Where should I meet someone from a dating app?", "help me set up a check-in with a friend", "how do I leave a date early?" — practical, ordinary planning tips for meeting someone new, the same kind of low-effort habits most people already use before a first date.

What it does

tip_info gives one tip's full detail across 14 tips spanning before the date, choosing a location, telling someone and check-ins, transportation, and during the date. tip_search searches by keyword; tips_by_category lists every tip in one of five categories (category_list shows them all with counts). find_tip_for_situation suggests 1-4 tips for a plain-language situation like "meeting someone from a dating app" or "want to leave a date early". safety_checklist gives a shortlist of the most essential planning tips. check_in_plan builds a simple, ready-to-use check-in structure — who to tell, what to share beforehand, and a couple of check-in message ideas. location_ideas suggests good types of public meeting spots for a setting (daytime/casual, evening, activity-based, quick/low-pressure). glossary defines a few practical terms like "soft exit" and "public meeting spot."

What it is not

Not alarmist, and not a claim that meeting someone new is unusually risky — most first dates go completely fine. Every tip here is framed as ordinary, common-sense planning (the same habits many people already use without thinking twice about it), not as a warning. This tool is scoped to everyday first-meeting planning, not crisis situations; if something more serious comes up, local authorities and dedicated support services are the right resource, not this reference.

Privacy policy

First Date Safety — Privacy Policy

Effective 26 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What First Date Safety is. First Date Safety is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a hand-curated, fully local reference of practical first-meeting planning tips — before the date, choosing a location, telling someone and check-ins, transportation, and during the date. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a topic name, a search keyword, a category, a plain-language situation, a setting type, or (for check_in_plan) an optional contact name and meeting time you choose to include — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Everything is answered from a bundled, hand-curated reference file and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all — and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything. Any name you pass to check_in_plan is used only to fill in that one response's template and is not retained afterward.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None — the entire dataset is bundled with the server and answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Children. First Date Safety is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Terms of service

First Date Safety — Terms of Service

Effective 26 September 2026. These terms govern use of the First Date Safety connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

  1. The Service. First Date Safety returns a hand-curated, fully local reference of practical, non-alarmist planning tips for meeting someone new — browsable by category, searchable, with a check-in plan builder, location-type suggestions, and a glossary. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
  2. General planning information, not a safety guarantee. This Service offers ordinary, common-sense planning suggestions. It cannot guarantee anyone's safety, does not vet or verify any individual, and is not a substitute for your own judgment about a specific person or situation.
  3. Not a crisis or emergency service. This Service is scoped to everyday first-meeting planning. If you believe you or someone else is in danger, contact local emergency services rather than relying on this Service.
  4. Acceptable use. Automated use within the published rate limits is welcome.
  5. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
  6. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your query is answered from a bundled reference file, and nothing is stored.
  7. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
  8. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the Service. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
  9. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.
