About

Homegym plans a home gym that fits, not a wishlist. recommend_equipment takes your available space in square feet and a budget tier (budget/mid/high), and optionally a workout style, and returns a prioritized list built by walking essential equipment first, then nice-to-have, then advanced, smallest footprint first within each tier, including an item only if it still fits the remaining space and budget — the total recommended footprint never exceeds the space given, and anything that didn't fit is listed separately as skipped_for_space. style_equipment_map shows what a workout style genuinely needs at minimum: calisthenics needs about 15 sq ft (a pull-up bar and a mat), powerlifting needs about 48 sq ft (a rack, a barbell and plates, and a bench) — a real, verified gap, not a guess. list_equipment, equipment_detail and list_workout_styles browse the catalogue directly. Keyless; computed locally; nothing stored; planning information from estimated footprints, not a guarantee a specific product fits your room.

Sources: Computed locally / hand-curated (22-item equipment catalogue with practical floor-footprint estimates from typical product dimensions plus use clearance, cost and priority tiers; space/budget recommendation logic computed locally); fully local, zero upstream calls

What Homegym is for

Turning "I have a 10x10 foot corner and a mid budget" into an actual, prioritized shopping list that fits — not a generic wishlist that quietly assumes a spare room.

What it does

A hand-curated catalogue of 22 pieces of home-gym equipment, each with a real practical floor-space estimate (the item's own footprint plus the clearance needed to use it — a squat rack's figure includes room to step back and rack the bar, not just the frame's footprint), a relative cost tier (budget/mid/high), and a priority tier (essential, nice-to-have, advanced). recommend_equipment takes your available space and budget and returns a prioritized list that walks essential items first, then nice-to-have, then advanced, always the smallest footprint within a tier first — an item is only ever included if it still fits the space and budget remaining, so the recommended total footprint never exceeds what you actually have, and anything that didn't fit is listed separately rather than silently dropped or silently squeezed in. style_equipment_map shows what a workout style genuinely needs at minimum — calisthenics needs a pull-up bar and a mat (about 15 sq ft); powerlifting needs a rack, a barbell and plates, and a bench (about 48 sq ft) — so the real gap between styles is visible before you ever run the recommender. list_equipment, equipment_detail and list_workout_styles browse the catalogue directly.

What it is not

Not a substitute for measuring your own room or the specific product you're considering: footprint figures are practical estimates from typical dimensions, and real products (and real doorways, ceiling heights and floor load limits) vary. It is a planning aid, not a guarantee any specific item fits your specific space.

Homegym — Privacy Policy

Effective 28 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What Homegym is. Homegym is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for home-gym equipment planning: space/budget-constrained recommendations, a workout-style-to-equipment map, and catalogue browsing. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the numbers and words needed to answer (available space, budget tier, workout style, an equipment name or filter).

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call (space in square feet, budget tier, workout style, an equipment name or tier filter), the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Everything is computed on our server and nothing is stored. The equipment catalogue is a bundled reference file; recommendations are computed from it and the numbers you send. No request is forwarded to any third party. What you send is used for that one answer and is not recorded, logged in request bodies or used to train anything.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, contacts, home address, photos of your space, or any account credentials. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. For users in California, the EU/UK and elsewhere, our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Children. Homegym is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Terms of service

Homegym — Terms of Service

Effective 28 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Homegym connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

  1. The Service. Homegym returns home-gym equipment planning recommendations, a workout-style-to-equipment map, and catalogue browsing, from a hand-curated equipment reference and a space/budget-constrained recommendation algorithm. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
  2. General planning information, not a fit guarantee or professional advice. Footprint figures are practical estimates from typical product dimensions and standard use clearance, not measurements of your specific room or the specific product you buy; always verify against your own space, ceiling height, doorway width and floor load before purchasing. Nothing here is safety, structural, or medical advice; consult a qualified professional for structural, electrical or safety questions about your space, and a coach or clinician before starting a new training program.
  3. Acceptable use. Do not use the Service to circumvent rate limits. Automated use within the published limits is welcome.
  4. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
  5. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your query is answered on our server and nothing is stored.
  6. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
  7. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of or reliance on the Service, including from equipment that does not fit as estimated. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
  8. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.
