About

Reckon is the calculator an assistant should reach for instead of doing arithmetic in its head. Units: 200+ names across length, mass, volume, area (acre, hectare, bigha, guntha), speed, time, energy, power, pressure, data (KB vs KiB), angle, frequency, fuel economy (mpg ↔ L/100 km) and temperature. Currency: 30 currencies at the European Central Bank's reference rate, today or on any date since 1999. Percentages: X% of Y, percent change, A as a % of B, reverse (pre-tax, pre-discount), add/subtract, markup vs margin, tax-inclusive split. Tips with bill splitting and rounding. Loans: payment, total interest, the effect of extra payments, year-by-year schedule. Savings: compound growth with contributions, effective rate, doubling time, inflation-adjusted value, and the contribution needed to reach a goal. Body: BMI with WHO category, healthy-weight range, BMR and daily calories by activity (Mifflin–St Jeor). Cooking: cups, tablespoons, sticks ↔ grams and ounces by ingredient density for 60 ingredients including Indian staples. Sizes: men's and women's shoes, women's and men's clothing, rings across US/UK/EU/metric. Fuel cost of a trip, unit-price comparison of offers, and numbers as words (English and lakh/crore), Roman numerals, ordinals and bases. Every answer shows its working; nothing is stored.
