About

Retire Bridge puts early-retirement (FIRE) arithmetic behind one connector, computed live — nothing fetched, nothing stored. fire_number_calculator computes the portfolio size needed to sustain a given annual spending level at a chosen safe withdrawal rate (4% is the classic 25x rule). coast_fire_calculator takes current savings, a growth rate, years to a target retirement age, and annual expenses, and computes whether current savings alone — with no further contributions — will compound into the FIRE number by that age, the projected value either way, and how much extra would be needed today to coast. years_to_fi_calculator and savings_rate_to_years_table compute the real relationship between savings rate and years to financial independence, derived live from the compound-growth annuity formula (years = ln(1 + (1/withdrawal_rate) × real_return × (1−savings_rate)/savings_rate) ÷ ln(1+real_return)), reproducing the well-known 'shockingly simple math' relationship at the classic 5%/4% assumptions. fire_glossary defines FIRE, FIRE number, safe withdrawal rate, Lean FIRE, Fat FIRE, Barista FIRE, Coast FIRE, savings rate, real return, and sequence-of-returns risk. General educational information, not financial advice.

Sources: Computed locally — no bundled tables — from standard compound-growth and annuity formulas applied live to the caller's own inputs (or stated illustrative defaults); fully local, zero upstream calls

What Retire Bridge is for

"What's my FIRE number on $60,000 a year?", "am I Coast FIRE with $300,000 saved at 35?", "how many years to financial independence if I save half my income?", "what's the difference between Lean, Fat, Barista, and Coast FIRE?" — the early-retirement math people work out on a spreadsheet, computed live and exactly instead.

What it does

fire_number_calculator computes the portfolio size needed to sustain a given annual spending level at a chosen safe withdrawal rate — 4% is the classic "25x annual expenses" rule, and any other rate is supported. coast_fire_calculator takes current savings, an expected growth rate, years to a target retirement age, and annual expenses, and computes whether current savings ALONE — with no further contributions — will compound into the FIRE number by that age ("Coast FIRE"), the projected value either way, and how much extra would be needed today to coast if not yet there. years_to_fi_calculator and savings_rate_to_years_table compute the real relationship between savings rate and years to financial independence — DERIVED live from the compound-growth annuity formula (years = ln(1 + (1/withdrawal_rate) × real_return × (1−savings_rate)/savings_rate) ÷ ln(1+real_return)), not recited from a table, reproducing the well-known "shockingly simple math" relationship at the classic 5% real return / 4% withdrawal assumptions. fire_glossary defines FIRE, FIRE number, safe withdrawal rate, Lean FIRE, Fat FIRE, Barista FIRE, Coast FIRE, savings rate, real return, and sequence-of-returns risk.

What it is not

Retire Bridge is general educational information computed from standard compound-growth arithmetic and the assumptions you supply (or illustrative defaults of a 5% real return and a 4% withdrawal rate) — not personalized financial advice. Real markets do not return the same amount every year, and a "safe" withdrawal rate depends on sequence-of-returns risk, time horizon, and spending flexibility that a single number cannot capture; consult a financial advisor before making a retirement decision based on any figure here.

Retire Bridge — Privacy Policy

Effective 28 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What Retire Bridge is. Retire Bridge is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for early-retirement (FIRE) calculations: a FIRE-number calculator, a Coast FIRE calculator, a years-to-financial-independence calculator, and a savings-rate-to-years table. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the numbers needed for that one calculation.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — annual expenses, a withdrawal rate, current savings, a growth rate, years to retirement, a savings rate, a real return rate, or a glossary term — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Everything is computed on our server and nothing is stored. Every calculation uses standard compound-growth and annuity formulas computed from the numbers you provide; no request is forwarded to any third party, and no query — including any savings, expense, or rate figure you enter — is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, your actual account balances or institution names, or any other identifying or account information, and we do not build a financial profile from your queries: each calculation is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None — every tool is computed locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Children. Retire Bridge is a general-audience service for adults; we knowingly collect no personal data from anyone.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Terms of service

Retire Bridge — Terms of Service

Effective 28 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Retire Bridge connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

  1. The Service. Retire Bridge returns early-retirement (FIRE) calculations — a FIRE-number calculator, a Coast FIRE calculator, a years-to-financial-independence calculator, a savings-rate-to-years table, and a glossary — computed live from standard compound-growth formulas and the numbers you provide. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
  2. Not financial advice. Retire Bridge's calculations are general educational information and illustrative projections based on assumptions you supply (or stated illustrative defaults) — not a recommendation, and not individualized financial or retirement advice. Consult a financial advisor for guidance tailored to your situation before making a decision.
  3. Assumptions, not guarantees. Every calculation assumes a constant, unchanging rate of return or growth for the full period modeled — real investment returns vary year to year, and a "safe" withdrawal rate is a historically-derived rule of thumb, not a guarantee against running out of money.
  4. Illustrative defaults. Where you do not supply a real return or withdrawal rate, the Service uses stated illustrative defaults (a 5% real return, a 4% withdrawal rate) drawn from commonly cited FIRE-community conventions, not personalized projections for you.
  5. Acceptable use. Automated use within the published rate limits is welcome.
  6. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
  7. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your query is answered on our server and nothing is stored.
  8. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
  9. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any financial loss arising from use of or reliance on the Service. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
  10. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.
