About

Soundbite is a fully local short-form audio hook/jingle structure reference. hook_principles explains what makes a hook memorable — brevity, repetition, rhythm, melodic contour, predictability-with-a-twist, word/rhythm alignment. jingle_structure_template gives one format's structure and duration range across 5 formats (sonic logo, advertising jingle, podcast intro/outro, notification sound, ringtone); jingle_type_list shows them all. rhythm_pattern_guide explains motif, ostinato, syncopation, call-and-response and simple subdivision in plain language. repetition_techniques covers 5 ways repetition builds memorability. duration_guide gives recommended lengths for 6 use cases. earworm_science_summary gives a hedged summary of widely discussed music-psychology tendencies around involuntary musical imagery. key_and_tempo_suggestions gives commonly used Western-music tempo/key associations for 6 moods. originality_checklist gives 7 practical steps — including the concept of cryptomnesia — to avoid unintentionally reproducing an existing melody. soundbite_glossary defines sonic logo, motif, ostinato, syncopation, earworm, audio branding, hook, melodic contour, and cryptomnesia. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls; nothing stored. No real copyrighted jingle, song, or sound logo is reproduced, described note-for-note, or used as a template.

Sources: Hand-curated from widely discussed music-psychology tendencies and general songwriting/sound-design/audio-branding convention as of build date; fully local, zero upstream calls. No real copyrighted jingle or song reproduced.

What Soundbite is for

"What makes an audio hook memorable?", "how should I structure a sonic logo?", "why do songs get stuck in your head?", "how do I make sure my jingle isn't accidentally copying an existing song?" — a hand-curated short-form audio hook and jingle structure reference.

What it does

hook_principles explains what makes a hook memorable — brevity, repetition, rhythm, melodic contour, predictability-with-a-twist, and word/rhythm alignment. jingle_structure_template gives one format's structure and duration range across 5 formats: sonic logo, advertising jingle, podcast intro/outro, notification sound, and ringtone (jingle_type_list shows them all). rhythm_pattern_guide explains motif, ostinato, syncopation, call-and-response, and simple subdivision in plain language. repetition_techniques covers 5 ways repetition builds memorability. duration_guide gives recommended lengths for 6 use cases. earworm_science_summary gives a hedged summary of widely discussed music-psychology tendencies around involuntary musical imagery. key_and_tempo_suggestions gives commonly used tempo/key associations for 6 moods. originality_checklist gives 7 practical steps — including the concept of cryptomnesia — to avoid unintentionally reproducing an existing melody, and soundbite_glossary defines the vocabulary.

What it is not

Not a music-generation tool, and not a guaranteed formula for a hit jingle — the earworm science summary is explicitly hedged as widely discussed tendencies, not settled causal rules, and mood/tempo associations are common Western-music conventions, not universal truths. No real copyrighted jingle, song, or sound logo is ever reproduced, described note-for-note, or used as a template here — every example is generic and original.

Soundbite — Privacy Policy

Effective 25 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What Soundbite is. Soundbite is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a hand-curated short-form audio hook/jingle structure reference. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup.

No audio, ever. Every tool takes text arguments (a jingle format, a use case, a mood, a glossary term) and returns text explanation. Soundbite never receives, processes, or stores any audio file.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call, the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Everything is answered from a bundled, hand-curated reference file and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all — and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant or your name, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None — the entire dataset is bundled with the server and answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Children. Soundbite is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Terms of service

Soundbite — Terms of Service

Effective 25 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Soundbite connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

  1. The Service. Soundbite returns a hand-curated short-form audio hook/jingle structure reference — hook principles, format structure templates, rhythm/repetition guidance, duration guidance, earworm-science summary, mood-based tempo/key suggestions, and an originality checklist. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP, and takes only text arguments, never audio.
  2. General guidance, not a formula or a legal opinion. The Service describes widely discussed conventions and tendencies, not guaranteed rules for a successful or non-infringing composition. It does not determine whether any specific piece of music infringes an existing copyrighted work; that is a legal question outside its scope.
  3. No copyrighted material reproduced. No tool response reproduces, quotes, or closely describes any real copyrighted song, jingle, or sound logo — all structural guidance is generic and original.
  4. Acceptable use. Automated use within the published rate limits is welcome.
  5. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
  6. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your query is answered from a bundled reference file, and nothing — least of all audio — is stored.
  7. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
  8. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the Service — including any claim that a composition created with its guidance infringes a third party's rights. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
  9. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.
