Subscription spend by category, cost-per-use, and cancellation-savings projections — all local

Real questions, and the tools your agent calls to answer them.
spend_summaryspend_summarycancellation_savings_projectorcancellation_savings_projectoraudit_methodology_guidesubtracker_glossarySubtracker puts subscription-spend arithmetic behind one connector, computed locally from the numbers you supply. Spend summary: converts every subscription — whatever its billing cycle — to an exact annual and monthly figure on the same footing, then reports total spend, a spend-by-category breakdown, and cost-per-use for anything you gave a usage frequency for. Cancellation savings projector: the monthly/annual savings and remaining spend from cancelling one or more subscriptions out of a list, plus — given an expected return and a time horizon — the future value of investing those savings every month instead of spending them, using the standard ordinary-annuity compounding formula. Audit methodology guide: a hand-written, ten-step checklist for inventorying every charge, scoring usage rather than just price, spotting category overlap and free-trial conversions, downgrading before cancelling, and re-auditing on a schedule. A glossary covers subscription creep, cost per use, zombie subscriptions, and more. General educational information, not personalized financial advice.
Sources: No external sources — every tool is arithmetic computed locally from the numbers the caller supplies; nothing fetched, nothing stored
The publisher, Unify Dynamics LLC, states that tool inputs are processed in memory and not retained.

"What am I spending on subscriptions total, by category", "what's my cost per use on this gym app I barely open", "how much would I save cancelling Netflix and Spotify", "if I invest that savings instead, what's it worth in 5 years", "how do I actually audit my subscriptions" — the recurring-spend questions that are hard to answer because the charges are scattered across a dozen billing cycles. Subtracker answers them with real arithmetic — no upstream calls, no accounts, nothing stored.
Spend summary. Takes a list of subscriptions (name, cost, billing cycle, optional category and monthly usage count) and converts every one — weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual — to an exact annual and monthly figure on the same footing, then reports total spend, a spend-by-category breakdown, and cost-per-use for anything a usage frequency was given for.
Cancellation savings projector. Given the same subscription list and the names to cancel, computes the monthly and annual savings and what's left afterward. Add an expected investment return and a time horizon to also see what that freed-up money would be worth if invested every month instead of spent, using the standard ordinary-annuity compounding formula.
Audit methodology guide. A hand-written, ten-step checklist for actually finding and trimming unused subscriptions: inventorying every charge, normalizing billing cycles, scoring usage rather than just price, spotting category overlap and free-trial conversions, downgrading before cancelling, cancelling through the real billing channel, and re-auditing on a schedule.
Glossary. Plain-language definitions of subscription creep, cost per use, zombie subscription, the free-trial-to-paid conversion, tier downgrades, and the opportunity cost of a subscription.
Not personalized financial advice, and not a bank or subscription-management integration — Subtracker computes from the numbers you give it; it cannot see your actual statements, detect subscriptions on its own, or cancel anything for you. Investment-return figures in the savings projector are illustrative math with a rate you supply, not a forecast of what any investment will actually do.

What Subtracker is. Subtracker is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for subscription-spend calculations: spend summaries, cost-per-use, and cancellation-savings projections. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the numbers needed for that one calculation.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — subscription names (e.g. "Netflix"), costs, billing cycles, categories, usage frequencies, and any investment-return assumptions — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
Everything is computed on our server and nothing is stored. Every calculation is plain arithmetic over the numbers you provide in that single request — there are no upstream data sources or bundled rate tables to look anything up in, and Subtracker never connects to your bank, card issuer, or app stores to find subscriptions on its own. No request is forwarded to any third party, and no query — including any subscription name or amount you enter — is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, account or card numbers, or any other identifying or account information, and we do not build a spending profile from your queries: each calculation is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None — every tool is computed locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. For users in California, the EU/UK and elsewhere, our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. Subtracker is a general-audience service for adults; we knowingly collect no personal data from anyone.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
