RAMP-protocol warm-ups for running, lifting, basketball and swimming — real movements, not generic stretches

Real questions, and the tools your agent calls to answer them.
generate_warmupwarmup_as_textramp_frameworklist_sportscompare_warmupsWarmupbuilder generates sport-specific warm-ups using the RAMP protocol (Raise, Activate & Mobilize, Potentiate), a warm-up framework described by strength & conditioning coach Ian Jeffreys as a structured alternative to static-stretch-only warm-ups. generate_warmup builds a full routine for running, weightlifting, basketball, swimming, or general activity, with hand-curated, activity-appropriate movements and real rep counts and timing that differ meaningfully by sport, and can scale phase durations down when available_minutes is limited. warmup_as_text gives the same routine as printable text. ramp_framework explains the protocol itself and why dynamic movement, not static stretching, precedes intense effort. list_sports lists what's covered. compare_warmups shows concretely how two sports' routines differ in movement selection and duration. Keyless; computed locally; nothing stored; general fitness/technique information, not medical advice.
Sources: Computed locally / hand-curated (RAMP protocol structure from Ian Jeffreys' published warm-up framework; per-sport movement selection, rep counts and timing hand-curated to each activity's real demands); fully local, zero upstream calls

A hand-curated table tennis reference — rules, scoring, technique and equipment
A warm-up that actually matches what you're about to do — a runner rehearsing running mechanics, a lifter ramping into their working weight, a basketball player preparing lateral movement and a jump shot — instead of the same generic five minutes of static stretching before everything.
Every routine follows the RAMP protocol (Raise, Activate & Mobilize, Potentiate), a warm-up framework described
by strength & conditioning coach Ian Jeffreys as a structured alternative to static-stretch-only warm-ups: Raise
brings up heart rate, breathing and blood flow with general low-intensity movement; Activate & Mobilize moves the
specific joints and muscles the session will use through dynamic (not static) range of motion; Potentiate
progressively ramps movement intensity toward the session's actual demands. generate_warmup builds this for
running, weightlifting, basketball, swimming or general activity, with hand-curated, activity-appropriate
movements and real rep counts and timing that differ meaningfully by sport — a runner gets leg swings and strides
building toward pace; a lifter gets band pull-aparts, hip openers and ramped warm-up sets of their actual working
lift; a basketball player gets carioca, defensive slides and layup lines; a swimmer gets shoulder dislocates and a
descending-effort build set. Pass available_minutes to scale phase durations down when time is short.
warmup_as_text gives the same routine as a printable block of text. ramp_framework explains the protocol
itself. compare_warmups shows concretely how two sports' routines differ in movement selection.
Not individualized guidance for an injury, a medical condition, or a specific sport not covered here (the
general routine is a reasonable default for anything else). Static stretching is deliberately left out of the
main routine because it can temporarily reduce power output right before intense effort — it still has a place
in a cool-down or a separate flexibility session. General fitness/technique information, not medical advice.

What Warmupbuilder is. Warmupbuilder is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for sport-specific warm-up generation: a structured RAMP-protocol routine, a text-formatted version, framework explanation, and a warm-up comparison across sports. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the sport name and, optionally, the time you have available.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call (a sport/activity name, an optional available-minutes value, two sport names for a comparison), the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
Everything is computed on our server and nothing is stored. Routines are read from a bundled reference file and, when a time limit is given, scaled by a simple formula. No request is forwarded to any third party. What you send is used for that one answer and is not recorded, logged in request bodies or used to train anything.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, contacts, medical records, location data or any account credentials. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. None. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. For users in California, the EU/UK and elsewhere, our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. Warmupbuilder is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.
