Search the Radio Browser directory by station name, country, state, language and tag in any combination, ranked by votes, clicks, trend, name or bitrate; every result carries a resolved stream URL (MP3, AAC or HLS), codec and bitrate, homepage, logo, tags, votes and an online flag. Top-voted, most-clicked and trending stations worldwide or in a country. Stations geotagged near a place or coordinates. Browse countries, languages and tags by station count. Airwave turns those requests into direct stream URLs from the largest open directory of internet radio.
Search the community-maintained Radio Browser directory (50,000+ stations, refreshed by volunteers and automated checks) by station name, country, state, language and tag or genre in any combination, ranked by votes, recent clicks, trend, name or bitrate. Every station returns a resolved stream URL (MP3, AAC or HLS), codec and bitrate, homepage, logo, tags, votes, recent clicks and the directory's online flag. Top-voted, most-clicked and trending lists worldwide or per country. Stations geotagged near a place (34,000-city gazetteer) or coordinates. Browse countries, languages and tags by station count to discover what exists — 12,000 English stations, 5,000 Spanish, 2,000 Chinese, hundreds in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Marathi and Bengali. One station's full record by id.
Not a player and not the broadcaster: streams belong to the stations, may be geo-restricted or change without notice, and 'online' is the directory's last check, not a live guarantee. Directory data is community-edited, so names, tags and logos vary in quality. No recording, no schedules, no now-playing metadata.

What Airwave is. Airwave is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for internet radio: searching stations, top and trending lists, stations near a place and browsing countries, languages and tags. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the search words, filters, place or station id needed for the lookup.
What we receive. The arguments of each tool call (station name words, a country, language or tag, a place or coordinates, a station id), the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.
Lookups are forwarded or computed, not stored. Search filters are passed to the Radio Browser directory below; places resolve from a bundled gazetteer (Open-Meteo geocoding only for places not in it). We do not record your queries or build a profile. Nothing you send is stored, logged in request bodies or used to train anything. Successful directory answers are cached in memory for up to an hour, keyed by the query.
What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name or contacts or any account credentials. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
Sub-processors. Radio Browser (radio-browser.info mirrors) receives the search filters and our server's IP address, never yours. Stream URLs in responses point at the broadcasters' servers; opening a stream is a request from your player to that broadcaster, which we do not see. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).
Legal bases and your rights. For users in California, the EU/UK and elsewhere, our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.
Children. Airwave is a general-audience service; we knowingly collect no personal data from anyone.
Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.
