What Ank is for

"Ank" (अंक) is the Sanskrit/Hindi word for a numeral or digit. This connector is a fully local Vedic/Chaldean numerology calculator — the kind of number-reading tradition practiced across India for generations, computed instantly from a name and a birth date, with no lookup site, ad clutter, or account required.

This is a cultural and entertainment reference, not a scientific or predictive one. Numerology has no basis in verified science, and nothing Ank returns should be read as a forecast, a diagnosis, or advice about health, money, or relationships. Every tool response says so plainly. Treat it the way you'd treat a horoscope column: a fun, traditional lens for reflection, not a instruction manual.

What it does

life_path_number sums every digit of a full birth date and reduces it to a single digit 1-9 (or a master number 11, 22 or 33), with a hand-written trait description. name_number computes a name's number under either the Chaldean or Pythagorean letter-value system — two long-standing but different tables for turning letters into digits. numerology_profile combines a life-path and name number into one snapshot, with a lucky number, day, color and gemstone drawn from the life path's traditional ruling planet. number_meaning gives the full write-up — traits, ruling planet (Sun through Mars, per Vedic tradition, plus the lunar nodes Rahu and Ketu), lucky day, color and gemstone — for any of the nine core numbers or the three master numbers. compatibility offers a short, folklore-based compatibility note between two numbers. lucky_dates lists every date in a chosen month whose digits reduce to a favorable number. name_number_search suggests small, playful spelling variants of a name (a silent letter added, a doubled letter, a common substitution like "c"/"k") that would shift its name-number toward a target — a fun exercise, not a guarantee. numerology_glossary defines about a dozen core terms: life path, master number, Chaldean vs. Pythagorean systems, karmic debt number, soul urge number, and more.

What it is not

Not a fortune-teller, not a substitute for professional advice of any kind, and not affiliated with any named numerologist, guru, or organization. The letter-value tables and planetary correspondences follow widely published numerology convention, but numerology itself is folklore — different schools disagree on details, and none of it is verified by science. Every tool response carries a one-line reminder of exactly that.

Core Numbers

life_path_number — The life-path/destiny number for a birth date: every digit of the full date is summed and reduced to 1-9 (or left as a master number 11/22/33), with a trait description. Use for "what's my life path number for 1990-04-23". Args: date_of_birth.

name_number — A name's number (expression/destiny number): each letter's value under the Chaldean or Pythagorean system is summed and reduced to 1-9 (or a master number). Use for "what's the name number for Priya Sharma in Chaldean numerology". Args: name, system.

numerology_profile — A combined numerology snapshot: life-path number, name number (Chaldean), and a lucky number, day, color and gemstone drawn from the life path's ruling planet. Use for "give me my numerology profile". Args: name, date_of_birth.

Meanings

number_meaning — Full traits, ruling planet, and lucky day/color/gemstone for a single numerology number (1-9, or a master number). Use for "what does the number 7 mean in numerology", "what is a master number 22". Args: number.

numerology_glossary — Definitions of core numerology terms (life path number, master number, Chaldean vs Pythagorean systems, karmic debt number, soul urge number, ...). Use for "what's a master number", "what's the Chaldean system". Args: term.

Relationships & Timing

compatibility — A short traditional-numerology-folklore compatibility note between two life-path or name numbers. Use for "are life path 3 and 6 compatible", "how do 8 and 1 get along in numerology". Args: number_a, number_b.

lucky_dates — Every calendar date in a given month whose digits reduce to a chosen favorable number, per traditional numerology practice. Use for "which dates in October 2026 are lucky for a life path 3". Args: number, month, year.

Play

name_number_search — Playful minor spelling variants of a name (adding a silent letter, doubling a letter, common letter swaps) ranked by how close their name-number lands to a target number. A fun cultural exercise, not a guarantee. Use for "how could I spell Kiran to get a name number of 6". Args: target_number, seed_name, system, limit.

Conventions

• Read-only. Every tool reads public data or computes; nothing is written anywhere and nothing about the user is stored.
• Result envelope. ok: true with data, or ok: false with a structured error (bad_input, not_found, upstream_error). degraded lists optional sources that were unreachable.
• Rate limits. Free tier 60 tool calls/minute and 300/day per user (keyed on the user identifier supplied by the host agent, else client IP); Pro keys raise this. Over-limit calls return HTTP 429 with Retry-After. initialize and tools/list are never counted.

Ank — Privacy Policy

Effective 24 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What Ank is. Ank is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf to run traditional Vedic/Chaldean numerology calculations — a life-path number, a name number, a compatibility note, and similar hand-authored, entertainment-oriented lookups. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one calculation.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — which may include a name and a birth date you choose to provide, or just numbers and a month/year — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Everything is computed locally and nothing is stored. Every calculation runs against hand-authored tables bundled with the server. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all — and no name, birth date, or other argument is logged in request bodies, recorded, retained, or used to train anything.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant. We do not build a profile from your queries, and a name or birth date you send for one calculation is not linked to any other request. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps, not the arguments themselves) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sensitive data note. A birth date is not treated by us as sensitive personal data beyond the ordinary handling above — it is used only to compute a number, in the same request, and never stored. If you would rather not share a birth date with your assistant at all, you can still use name_number, number_meaning, compatibility, lucky_dates, name_number_search and numerology_glossary, none of which require one.

Sub-processors. None — every calculation is answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Children. Ank is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Effective 24 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Ank connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

1. The Service. Ank computes traditional Vedic/Chaldean numerology results — life-path and name numbers, number meanings, compatibility notes, favorable calendar dates, playful name-spelling suggestions, and a glossary — entirely from hand-authored tables bundled with the Service. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
2. Entertainment and cultural reference only — not scientific or predictive. Numerology is a cultural and divinatory tradition, not a science. Nothing produced by the Service is a prediction of future events, a diagnosis, or advice about health, finances, relationships, or any other real-world decision, and it should not be relied upon as such. Use it for reflection and enjoyment, not for decisions with real consequences.
3. No professional advice. The Service does not provide medical, legal, financial, or psychological advice. If you need advice in any of those areas, consult a qualified professional.
4. Not affiliated. Ank is an independent tool, not affiliated with or endorsed by any specific numerologist, school of numerology, guru, or religious or cultural organization. Letter-value tables and planetary correspondences follow widely published convention, but different traditions vary in their details.
5. Acceptable use. Automated use within the published rate limits is welcome.
6. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
7. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your inputs are computed against locally, and nothing is stored.
8. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
9. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of or reliance on the Service, including any decision made on the basis of a numerology result. Our total liability is limited to US $100.

When you report a problem, include the question you asked your agent, roughly when, and which agent you used (for example Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini). Never send us passwords, account numbers or ID numbers. Ank never asks for them.
