About

Apology Craft is a fully local apology-writing structure and technique guide — a general communication-skills tool, not therapy and not a ghostwriter. apology_outline gives the five-part structure (acknowledge specifically, take responsibility with no excuses, name the impact, make amends or propose a change, ask what they need) with guidance and bracketed prompt-starters, optionally noted for one relationship context. context_guide gives relationship-specific nuance for partners, friends, family, colleagues and acquaintances. phrase_starters gives original opening-line techniques by tone (direct, warm, brief). common_mistakes_guide lists how apologies commonly fail (the conditional apology, leading with "but", over-apologizing for reassurance, minimizing, the performance apology, ...). amends_ideas gives general categories for making amends. apology_checklist is a self-review checklist before sending. timing_and_delivery_guide covers in-person vs written and matching formality to the scale of what happened. receiving_an_apology_guide flips the lens with tips for responding well to an apology. glossary defines terms used elsewhere (non-apology, accountability, defensiveness, stonewalling, repair attempt, amends). Every prompt is original bracketed technique guidance, never a finished script or a real person's real words. Keyless; fully local; zero upstream calls.

What Apology Craft is for

"How do I actually apologize well?", "what's wrong with saying sorry you feel that way?", "how do I apologize to a coworker without it feeling weird?" — a structure and technique guide for writing a sincere apology, built to be filled in with your own true, specific details rather than handing you a script.

What it does

apology_outline gives the five-part structure behind a sincere apology — acknowledge specifically, take responsibility with no excuses, name the impact, make amends or propose a change, ask what they need — each with guidance and bracketed prompt-starters, optionally noted for one relationship context. context_guide gives relationship-specific nuance for a partner, friend, family member, colleague, or acquaintance. phrase_starters gives original opening-line techniques grouped by tone (direct, warm, brief). common_mistakes_guide lists the ways apologies commonly fail — the conditional apology, the buried apology, leading with "but", over-apologizing for reassurance, minimizing, the performance apology, demanding immediate forgiveness. amends_ideas gives general categories for making amends alongside the words. apology_checklist is a self-review checklist to run a draft through before sending. timing_and_delivery_guide covers in-person vs written, waiting until things have cooled down, and matching formality to the scale of what happened. receiving_an_apology_guide flips the lens with tips for responding well when someone apologizes to you. glossary defines terms used elsewhere (non-apology, accountability, defensiveness, stonewalling, repair attempt, amends).

What it is not

Not therapy, not counseling, and not a ghostwriter. Every prompt and example here is original, bracketed technique guidance — "I want to acknowledge that [specific thing]..." — meant to be filled in with the writer's own true, specific words, never a finished script to recite verbatim and never a real named person's real apology. This is a general communication-skills tool for structure and self-review, not a substitute for the harder, more personal work of actually meaning it.

Apology Craft — Privacy Policy

Effective 24 September 2026. Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us"), Menlo Park, California.

What Apology Craft is. Apology Craft is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a hand-curated apology-writing structure and technique guide — an outline, context nuance, phrase-starter techniques, a mistakes guide, amends ideas, a checklist and a glossary. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the arguments needed for that one lookup.

What we receive. The arguments of each tool call — a relationship context, a tone, or a glossary term — the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Everything is answered from bundled, hand-curated reference content and nothing is stored. No request is forwarded to any third party — there is no upstream call at all, live or otherwise — and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant or your name, and we do not build a profile from your queries: each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None — the entire dataset is bundled with the server and answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. Our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Children. Apology Craft is a general-audience service operated by the adult using the assistant.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Apology Craft — Terms of Service

Effective 24 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Apology Craft connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

  1. The Service. Apology Craft returns a hand-curated apology-writing structure and technique guide — an outline, context nuance, phrase-starter techniques, a mistakes guide, amends ideas, a checklist and a glossary. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
  2. Not a substitute for professional advice. Apology Craft is a general communication-skills guide, not therapy, counseling, or a substitute for either. It does not know your specific situation, and it cannot replace judgment formed with real support from the people and professionals in your life.
  3. Reference, not real-time guidance. Content reflects general, widely applicable practice as of the build date stated in the Service's own data.
  4. Acceptable use. Automated use within the published rate limits is welcome.
  5. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
  6. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your query is answered from bundled reference content, and nothing is stored.
  7. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
  8. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, the Service. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
