What Biolinecraft is for

"Write me a LinkedIn About section", "I need a speaker bio for this conference", "give me a one-line Twitter bio", "turn my bio into third person for the press kit" — Biolinecraft is deliberately not a resume, cover-letter, or interview-prep tool. It writes the short bio that introduces who someone is across a career or at an event — a different writing task from a job-specific resume bullet, with different conventions (voice, length, what belongs in it) depending on where it's going.

What it does

build_bio assembles a bio of a chosen type — LinkedIn About, speaker bio, one-liner, executive bio, academic bio, press bio, or personal-website About page — from a name, role, focus areas, achievements, and values you provide, in that type's typical structure and voice, with a word-count check against the type's typical range. speaker_bio_builder, one_liner_bio_generator, and academic_bio_builder are dedicated builders for the three formats with the most distinctive conventions: a speaker bio is always third person because it's read aloud by an emcee, a one-liner has to survive a character limit, and an academic bio prizes exact titles and institution names over flourish.

person_voice_transform converts a drafted bio between first and third person, using pronoun substitution ("I" → the person's name, "my" → "‹name›'s") and a verb-conjugation table (regular and a set of common irregular bio verbs) to keep subject-verb agreement correct in both directions. bio_buzzword_scanner flags tired bio phrases — "passionate about," "thought leader," "results-driven," "team player," and about twenty more — each with why it's weak and a more specific alternative.

bio_length_guide gives the typical word range and structure for one bio type or all seven. bio_tone_guide explains five tone options (professional, conversational, confident, academic/precise, playful). bio_checklist is a general pre-publish checklist. bio_examples gives one generic example per type, with fictional names, for structure reference only.

What is computed vs. hand-curated

Every builder assembles a draft only from the name, role, achievements, and other facts you supply — it never invents an achievement, a number, a title, or a credential. person_voice_transform runs a hand-built, deterministic pronoun and verb-conjugation substitution — a real text transform, not a lookup, but explicitly a heuristic rather than a grammar model: it handles common regular and irregular verbs correctly, and it is honest in its own output note that a compound sentence with more than one clause or an unusual irregular verb may need a manual fix afterward. Bio-type structures, tone descriptions, the checklist, the buzzword list, and the examples are hand-curated reference content.

What it is not

Biolinecraft is not an ATS or resume-matching tool, does not analyze resume bullets or job descriptions, and does not generate interview answers — Shortlist covers that resume/ATS/ interview-prep ground. It's also not a grammar checker: person_voice_transform's output should always be proofread, especially for sentences with more than one clause.

What Biolinecraft is. Biolinecraft is a connector (an MCP server and REST API) that AI assistants and personal agents call on your behalf for a fully local professional bio/summary template generator — deliberately not a resume, cover-letter, or interview-prep tool — assembling a LinkedIn About, speaker bio, one-liner, executive bio, academic bio, press bio, or personal-website About page from your own facts, converting a bio between first and third person, scanning a draft for bio buzzwords, and hand-curated bio-type, tone, checklist and example reference. You interact with your assistant; the assistant sends us only the text or values needed for that one response.

What we receive. the arguments of each tool call — a name, role, focus areas, achievements and values you want structured into a bio, a bio draft to transform or scan, or a bio-type/tone name to look up, the technical headers needed to serve the request (an IP address or a client identifier supplied by the assistant, and a Pro API key if you have one), and standard server logs.

Everything is answered locally and nothing is stored. Every builder assembles a draft only from the facts you send us and invents no achievement, number, title, or credential; the voice transform is a deterministic pronoun/verb-conjugation substitution computed from the text you send us; bio-type, tone, checklist, buzzword and example content is answered from a bundled hand-curated reference file — there is no upstream call at all; no request is forwarded to any third party, and no query is logged in request bodies, recorded, or used to train anything.

What we do not receive or store. We do not receive your conversation with the assistant, your name, contacts, or account credentials, and we do not build a profile from your queries — each request is answered independently and nothing carries over between requests. Because a bio can include your real name, employer, and career details, we want to be explicit: we do not log, retain, or use anything you send these builders beyond producing that one response.

Rate-limit counters (a client identifier and timestamps) are held in memory for at most 24 hours. Hosting-provider access logs, which contain IP addresses and request paths but not request bodies, are retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

Sub-processors. None — every tool is computed or answered locally. Hosting: Vercel (United States regions).

Legal bases and your rights. For users in California, the EU/UK and elsewhere, our processing is necessary to provide the service you request through your assistant. Because we store no personal data beyond short-lived logs, requests to access, correct or delete personal data are usually satisfied automatically; you can still contact agent@connectorbay.com and we will respond within 30 days. We do not sell or share personal information and do not use your data to train models.

Children. Biolinecraft is a general-audience bio-drafting tool and reference operated by the adult using the assistant.

Changes. We will post changes here with a new effective date.

Biolinecraft — Terms of Service

Effective 25 September 2026. These terms govern use of the Biolinecraft connector ("the Service") operated by Unify Dynamics LLC ("we", "us").

1. The Service. Biolinecraft returns professional bios assembled at a chosen type and voice, a first/third-person voice transform and buzzword scanner computed from your input, and hand-curated bio-type, tone, checklist and example reference. It is accessed through an AI assistant or directly over MCP or HTTP.
2. Not professional advice. Biolinecraft provides general information, templates and reference material — it is not legal, financial, tax, HR, or other professional advice, and using it does not create any professional relationship. Verify anything consequential against authoritative sources or a qualified professional before relying on it.
3. Not a resume, ATS, or interview-prep tool. Biolinecraft writes an introductory bio, not a job-specific resume bullet or interview answer, and does not evaluate a resume against a job description.
4. The voice transform is a heuristic, not a grammar checker. person_voice_transform handles common sentence patterns and verbs correctly but can miss agreement on compound sentences or unusual verbs — always proofread its output before publishing it anywhere.
5. Acceptable use. Automated use within the published rate limits is welcome.
6. Availability. The Service is provided "as is" without warranty. We may change, limit or discontinue it at any time.
7. Data. Our Privacy Policy describes what we process. In short: your input is answered on our server and nothing is stored.
8. Pro keys. Optional Pro API keys are issued at our discretion, are personal to the holder and may be revoked for abuse.
9. Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unify Dynamics LLC is not liable for any loss arising from use of or reliance on the Service. Our total liability is limited to US $100.
10. Governing law. California law; venue in San Mateo County, California.

When you report a problem, include the question you asked your agent, roughly when, and which agent you used (for example Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini). Never send us passwords, account numbers or ID numbers. Bio Writer never asks for them.
