What Accredible (BYOK) is for

Accredible (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Accredible data through the Accredible API with a key you supply (Accredible API key (US data center)). Read-only: 7 tools (list_groups, get_group, list_credentials, list_skill_frameworks, list_skill_categories, get_department, get_issuer). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.accredible.com. Accredible and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which credential groups exist in Accredible?"
  • "Show me this Accredible group"
  • "Which Accredible credentials were issued recently?"
  • "Which skill frameworks does my Accredible department use?"
  • "Which skill categories exist in Accredible?"
  • "Show me this Accredible department"

What it does

  • list_groups: List credential groups (courses or qualifications) with course name, description, link, language, expiry rule and skill category.
  • get_group: Get one credential group with course details, language, expiry rule and skill category.
  • list_credentials: List issued credentials with group, issue and expiry date, completion state and privacy flag. Recipient names, emails, grades and custom data are not returned.
  • list_skill_frameworks: List skill frameworks of a department with source, taxonomy, skill count and versions.
  • list_skill_categories: List the skill categories that credential groups can be tagged with.
  • get_department: Get one department (a sub-organization) with name, website and whether credentials are private by default.
  • get_issuer: Show the issuing organization of the key: name, website, language and remaining credit balance.

BYOK key

You bring your own Accredible Accredible API key (US data center) (https://docs.api.accredible.com/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.accredible.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
