What Affinity (BYOK) is for

Affinity (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Affinity data through the Affinity API with a key you supply (Affinity API key (v2)). Read-only: 7 tools (get_current_user, list_persons, list_companies, list_opportunities, list_lists, list_list_entries, list_notes). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.affinity.co. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Affinity. Affinity and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Affinity workspace and user is my API key for?"
  • "Who is in our Affinity people directory?"
  • "Which companies are in Affinity?"
  • "What opportunities are tracked in Affinity?"
  • "What lists do we have in Affinity?"
  • "Which companies are on Affinity list 3?"

What it does

  • get_current_user: Show the Affinity user, workspace (tenant) and key type the API key belongs to, with its scopes.
  • list_persons: List people in the directory with name, primary email, email addresses and whether they are internal or external. Cursor-paged. Needs the 'Export All People directory' permission.
  • list_companies: List companies (organizations) with name, primary domain and all domains. Cursor-paged.
  • list_opportunities: List opportunities (deals) with name and the list they belong to. Cursor-paged.
  • list_lists: List the lists (company, person and opportunity lists) you can view with name, type, owner and visibility. Optionally search by name; cursor-paged.
  • list_list_entries: List the entries (rows) of one list with entry type, the person, company or opportunity each row points to, creation time and creator. Cursor-paged.
  • list_notes: List notes (text in HTML) with author, creation time, reply count and the type of note. Cursor-paged.

BYOK key

You bring your own Affinity Affinity API key (v2) (https://developer.affinity.co/pages/external-api-v2/authentication). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.affinity.co over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Affinity API (api.affinity.co) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://developer.affinity.co/pages/external-api-v2/introduction. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Affinity. Affinity and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Affinity account.
