What Agenta (BYOK) is for

Agenta (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Agenta data through the Agenta API with a key you supply (Agenta project API key). Read-only: 8 tools (list_projects, list_applications, get_application, list_testsets, get_testset, list_evaluators, get_evaluator, list_application_templates). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to us.cloud.agenta.ai, eu.cloud.agenta.ai. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Agenta projects do I have?"
  • "Which applications do I have in Agenta?"
  • "Tell me about Agenta application X"
  • "What test sets are in my Agenta project?"
  • "Tell me about Agenta test set X"
  • "Which evaluators are set up in Agenta?"

What it does

  • list_projects: List the Agenta projects your key can see, with organization, workspace, project name and your role.
  • list_applications: List the prompt applications of the project with id, slug, name, description and timestamps; optionally filter by name.
  • get_application: Get one application by id: slug, name, description and timestamps.
  • list_testsets: List the test sets of the project (artifact rows without the test cases) with id, slug, name and timestamps; optionally filter by name.
  • get_testset: Get one test set by id: slug, name, description and timestamps.
  • list_evaluators: List the evaluators of the project with id, slug, name, description and timestamps; optionally filter by name.
  • get_evaluator: Get one evaluator by id: slug, name, description and timestamps.
  • list_application_templates: List the application templates in the Agenta catalog (key, name, description, categories) used to create new applications.

BYOK key

You bring your own Agenta Agenta project API key (https://cloud.agenta.ai/settings). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to us.cloud.agenta.ai, eu.cloud.agenta.ai over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
