Anthropic spend limits, service accounts, roles, federation and plugins (your admin key) lets an AI assistant read your own Anthropic Org Controls data through the Anthropic Org Controls API with a key you supply (Anthropic Admin API key). Read-only: 8 tools (list_spend_limits, list_effective_spend, list_service_accounts, list_rbac_groups, list_rbac_roles, list_federation_issuers, list_federation_rules, list_plugins). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.anthropic.com. What it does

  • list_spend_limits: List spend limits configured for the organization (amount, currency, reset period, enabled flag and what they apply to). Needs an Admin API key.
  • list_effective_spend: List the spend limit that applies to each user or scoped API key with the spend so far in the current period. Needs an Admin API key.
  • list_service_accounts: List service accounts of the organization with name, role (admin or developer), description and dates. Needs an Admin API key.
  • list_rbac_groups: List role-based access control groups with name, source (direct or SCIM) and the roles they hold. Needs an Admin API key.
  • list_rbac_roles: List the role-based access control roles of the organization with name and display name. Needs an Admin API key.
  • list_federation_issuers: List workload identity federation issuers (external token issuers trusted by the organization) with issuer URL, JWT lifetime limit and key polling health. Needs an Admin API key.
  • list_federation_rules: List workload identity federation rules mapping external identities to service accounts, with issuer, target service account, OAuth scope and token lifetime. Needs an Admin API key.
  • list_plugins: List plugins of the organization with name, owner type, installation preference, reach and latest version id. Needs an Admin API key.

BYOK key

You bring your own Anthropic Org Controls Anthropic Admin API key (https://platform.claude.com/settings/admin-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.anthropic.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
