What Appcues (BYOK) is for

Appcues (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Appcues data through the Appcues API with a key you supply (Appcues API key). Read-only: 11 tools (list_flows, get_flow, list_flows_v2, list_nps_surveys, list_checklists, list_banners, list_pins, list_launchpads, list_segments, get_segment, list_tags). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.appcues.com. What it does

  • list_flows: List the Appcues flows of an account with name, published state, display frequency, dates and tag IDs.
  • get_flow: Get one Appcues flow by ID: name, published state, display frequency, dates and tags.
  • list_flows_v2: List Appcues Flows 2.0 experiences with name, state, platform, display frequency, dates and tags.
  • list_nps_surveys: List Appcues NPS 2.0 surveys with name, state, platform, display frequency, dates and tags.
  • list_checklists: List Appcues checklists with title, state, whether items must be completed in order, publish state and dates.
  • list_banners: List Appcues banners with name, state, platform, display frequency, dates and tags.
  • list_pins: List Appcues pins (persistent tooltips) with name, state, platform, display frequency, dates and tags.
  • list_launchpads: List Appcues launchpads with name, state, platform, display frequency, dates and tags.
  • list_segments: List the user segments of an Appcues account with name, description and dates.
  • get_segment: Get one Appcues user segment by ID: name, description and dates.
  • list_tags: List the tags used to group Appcues experiences, with creation and update dates.

BYOK key

You bring your own Appcues Appcues API key (https://studio.appcues.com/settings/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.appcues.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Notices

This connector calls the US API host (api.appcues.com). Accounts in the EU region use api.eu.appcues.com, which this connector does not support.
