What AppVeyor (BYOK) is for

AppVeyor (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own AppVeyor data through the AppVeyor API with a key you supply (API token). Read-only: 7 tools (list_projects, get_project_last_build, get_project_branch_build, get_project_build_by_version, get_project_history, list_environments, list_project_deployments). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to ci.appveyor.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by AppVeyor. AppVeyor and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which projects do I have on AppVeyor and did their last builds pass?"
  • "What is the status of the latest AppVeyor build of my project?"
  • "Did the last AppVeyor build of the develop branch pass?"
  • "Show AppVeyor build 1.0.45 of my project"
  • "What were the last 10 AppVeyor builds of my project?"
  • "Which deployment environments do I have in AppVeyor?"

What it does

  • list_projects: List the AppVeyor projects of the account with repository, privacy flag and its most recent build (status, branch, commit message).
  • get_project_last_build: Get an AppVeyor project's most recent build: status, version, branch, commit, author, times and its jobs.
  • get_project_branch_build: Get the most recent AppVeyor build of one branch of a project.
  • get_project_build_by_version: Get one AppVeyor build of a project by its version string, for example '1.0.45'.
  • get_project_history: List the recent AppVeyor builds of a project (newest first), optionally for one branch or starting after a build id, with status, version, commit and times.
  • list_environments: List AppVeyor deployment environments with name, provider and dates. Settings and credentials are not returned.
  • list_project_deployments: List recent deployments of an AppVeyor project with environment, status and build version. At most 20 per call.

BYOK key

You bring your own AppVeyor API token (https://ci.appveyor.com/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to ci.appveyor.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the AppVeyor API (ci.appveyor.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://www.appveyor.com/docs/api/. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by AppVeyor. AppVeyor and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your AppVeyor account.
