What Attentive (BYOK) is for

Attentive (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Attentive data through the Attentive API with a key you supply (Attentive private app API key). Read-only: 8 tools (get_me, list_segments, get_segment, get_clear_segment_status, list_webhooks, list_catalog_uploads, get_catalog_upload, get_bulk_job_status). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.attentivemobile.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Attentive. Attentive and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Attentive company is my API key connected to?"
  • "What audience segments do I have in Attentive?"
  • "Show the details of the segment with external ID vip-customers"
  • "Did the clearing of segment vip-customers finish?"
  • "Which Attentive webhooks are registered?"
  • "How did my last Attentive product catalog uploads go?"

What it does

  • get_me: Show the company and application the API key belongs to: application name, Attentive domain, company name, company ID and contact email.
  • list_segments: List audience segments with name, description, external ID and created and updated times; filter by name, external ID or last update. Needs the segments read scope.
  • get_segment: Get one audience segment by its external ID.
  • get_clear_segment_status: Get the status of the most recent clear-all-members operation on a segment: status, start and completion time and failure reason.
  • list_webhooks: List the webhooks registered for the company with target URL, type, subscribed events and disabled time.
  • list_catalog_uploads: List recent product catalog uploads with status, counts of products received and processed, errors and last update time.
  • get_catalog_upload: Get the ingestion status of one product catalog upload by its upload ID, including line-level errors.
  • get_bulk_job_status: Get the status of a bulk ingestion job: status, total records and result URL.

BYOK key

You bring your own Attentive Attentive private app API key (https://docs.attentive.com/docs/authentication). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.attentivemobile.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Notices

Needs an API key from a private app created in the Attentive platform; the key only sees the scopes granted to that app. Attentive's public API has few read endpoints, so this connector is small.

Data sources

Live from the Attentive API (api.attentivemobile.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.attentive.com/reference/getme. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Attentive. Attentive and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Attentive account.
