What Autumn (BYOK) is for

Autumn (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Autumn data through the Autumn API with a key you supply (Autumn secret key). Read-only: 8 tools (list_customers, list_subscriptions, list_purchases, list_invoices, list_plans, list_features, list_events, list_balances). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.useautumn.com. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which customers do I have in Autumn?"
  • "Which Autumn subscriptions are past due?"
  • "Which one-off purchases did Autumn customers make?"
  • "Which Autumn invoices are still open?"
  • "What plans are configured in Autumn?"
  • "Which features does my Autumn setup meter?"

What it does

  • list_customers: List billing customers with id, name, environment and creation time, newest first. Email addresses are not returned.
  • list_subscriptions: List recurring plan subscriptions across customers with status, plan, quantity, past-due flag and current period.
  • list_purchases: List one-off plan purchases across customers with status, plan, quantity and expiry.
  • list_invoices: List invoices with status, total, currency, amount paid, refunded amount and the customer they belong to.
  • list_plans: List the plans in the current environment with name, version, add-on flag, active flag, free trial and creation time.
  • list_features: List the features defined in the current environment with name, type (boolean, metered or credit system) and whether usage is consumable.
  • list_events: List recorded usage events with feature, customer, value and timestamp, optionally for a preset time range.
  • list_balances: List feature balances (one row per grant) with included and prepaid grants, remaining amount, usage and status.

BYOK key

You bring your own Autumn Autumn secret key (https://app.useautumn.com). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.useautumn.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
