What Avaza (BYOK) is for

Avaza (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Avaza data through the Avaza API with a key you supply (Avaza personal access token). Read-only: 11 tools (get_account, list_projects, get_project, list_tasks, get_task, list_timesheets, get_timesheet_summary, list_customers, list_invoices, list_estimates, list_expenses). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.avaza.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Avaza. Avaza and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Avaza account is my token for?"
  • "What projects do I have in Avaza?"
  • "Show the details and budget of an Avaza project"
  • "Which tasks are still open in my Avaza project?"
  • "Show the details of an Avaza task"
  • "How many hours did I log on the website project last week in Avaza?"

What it does

  • get_account: Show the Avaza account: company name, sub-domain, default currency and timesheet settings.
  • list_projects: List Avaza projects with customer, category, code and archive flag.
  • get_project: Get one project with budget, dates, status, tags and sections.
  • list_tasks: List tasks with project, status, priority, due date, estimated effort and percent complete; filter by project or completion.
  • get_task: Get one task with description, assignees, tags, dates and progress.
  • list_timesheets: List timesheet entries with date, hours, project, task, notes, billable and invoiced flags; filter by date range, project or billable.
  • get_timesheet_summary: Show total and billable hours for a date range (for you, or for one project).
  • list_customers: List customer companies with currency, website and dates.
  • list_invoices: List invoices with number, customer, status, issue and due dates, total, tax and balance; filter by customer.
  • list_estimates: List estimates (quotes) with number, customer, status, dates and totals.
  • list_expenses: List expense entries with date, category, merchant, amount, project and approval and invoicing status.

BYOK key

You bring your own Avaza Avaza personal access token (https://www.avaza.com/avaza-api-oauth2-authentication/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.avaza.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Avaza API (api.avaza.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://api.apis.guru/v2/specs/avaza.com/v1/swagger.json. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Avaza. Avaza and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Avaza account.
