What Axiom Workspace (BYOK) is for

Axiom Workspace (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Axiom Workspace data through the Axiom Workspace API with a key you supply (Axiom API token (or personal access token) with read access). Read-only: 9 tools (list_dashboards, get_dashboard, list_saved_queries, list_views, get_view, list_virtual_fields, get_virtual_field, list_notifiers, get_notifier). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.axiom.co. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Axiom Workspace. Axiom Workspace and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Axiom dashboards do I have?"
  • "Show one Axiom dashboard"
  • "Which saved APL queries exist in Axiom?"
  • "Which views are defined in Axiom?"
  • "Show the definition of one Axiom view"
  • "Which virtual fields does my Axiom dataset have?"

What it does

  • list_dashboards: List dashboards visible to the key (an API token does not see private dashboards): id, uid, name, description, refresh time, time window and version. Charts are not returned.
  • get_dashboard: Get one dashboard by id: name, description, refresh time, time window, version and label ids.
  • list_saved_queries: List saved APL queries on datasets the key can read, with name, dataset, owner id and the APL text; filter by dataset or name fragment.
  • list_views: List the views (named APL queries that behave like datasets), including views shared by other organizations.
  • get_view: Get one view by name: description, APL query and the datasets it reads.
  • list_virtual_fields: List the virtual fields of one dataset (computed fields): name, expression, type and unit.
  • get_virtual_field: Get one virtual field by id (dataset.name): expression, type, unit and description.
  • list_notifiers: List notifiers (alert destinations) with id, name, timestamps and label ids; channel settings such as webhook URLs are not returned.
  • get_notifier: Get one notifier by id: name, disabled-until time, label ids and timestamps; channel settings are not returned.

BYOK key

You bring your own Axiom Workspace Axiom API token (or personal access token) with read access (https://axiom.co/docs/reference/tokens). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.axiom.co over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Axiom Workspace API (api.axiom.co) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://axiom.co/docs/restapi/introduction. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Axiom Workspace. Axiom Workspace and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Axiom Workspace account.
