What Azure Document Intelligence (BYOK) is for
Azure Document Intelligence (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Azure Document Intelligence data through the Azure Document Intelligence API with a key you supply (Azure AI Document Intelligence resource key (Keys and Endpoint page of the resource)). Read-only: 7 tools (get_resource_info, list_document_models, get_document_model, list_document_classifiers, get_document_classifier, list_operations, get_operation). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to *.cognitiveservices.azure.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Azure Document Intelligence. Azure Document Intelligence and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "How many custom models does my Document Intelligence resource have?"
- "Which document models are available in my Document Intelligence resource?"
- "Show details of Document Intelligence model prebuilt-invoice"
- "Which custom document classifiers do I have?"
- "Show details of the Document Intelligence classifier my-classifier"
- "What model build operations ran on my Document Intelligence resource?"
What it does
get_resource_info: Show how many custom document models the resource has and its limit. Does not analyze any document.list_document_models: List the document models available to the resource (custom and prebuilt) with id, description, build mode, creation and expiry time. One page; nextLink shows whether more exist.get_document_model: Get one document model by id: description, build mode, dates, tags, document types it extracts and warnings.list_document_classifiers: List the custom document classifiers with id, description, base classifier, dates and warnings. One page; nextLink shows whether more exist.get_document_classifier: Get one custom classifier by id with its description, dates, document types and warnings.list_operations: List recent long-running operations (model builds, copies, classifier builds) with id, kind, status, progress and dates.get_operation: Get one long-running operation by id with status, progress, kind, dates and any error.
BYOK key
You bring your own Azure Document Intelligence Azure AI Document Intelligence resource key (Keys and Endpoint page of the resource) (https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/ai-services/document-intelligence/how-to-guides/create-document-intelligence-resource). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to *.cognitiveservices.azure.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
