What Bird Email Stats (BYOK) is for

Bird Email Stats (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Bird Email Stats data through the Bird Email Stats API with a key you supply (Bird workspace API key (bk_...)). Read-only: 10 tools (get_email_stats_summary, get_email_stats_daily, get_email_stats_by_bounce_code, get_email_stats_by_complaint_type, get_email_stats_by_mailbox_provider, get_email_stats_by_recipient_domain, get_email_stats_by_sending_domain, get_email_stats_by_sending_ip, get_email_stats_by_template, get_email_health). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to us1.platform.bird.com, eu1.platform.bird.com. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "What were my Bird email delivery, bounce and open rates this month?"
  • "How many emails did I send each day last week on Bird and what was the bounce rate?"
  • "Which SMTP error codes cause most of my Bird email bounces?"

  • "Which mailbox provider has the worst Bird email delivery rate?"
  • "Which recipient domains bounce most on Bird?"

What it does

  • get_email_stats_summary: Get aggregate email counts and rates for a period (accepted, delivered, bounced by type, complained, opens, clicks, unsubscribes, latency percentiles), optionally compared with the previous period.
  • get_email_stats_daily: Get email counts and rates per day over a window, optionally filtered by category, sending domain, tag or template.
  • get_email_stats_by_bounce_code: Count email bounces by SMTP error code with hard, soft and block splits, ranked by bounce count.
  • get_email_stats_by_complaint_type: Count spam complaints by feedback-loop type, ranked by complaint count.
  • get_email_stats_by_mailbox_provider: Compare email delivery, bounces, complaints and engagement across mailbox providers such as Gmail and Outlook.
  • get_email_stats_by_recipient_domain: Compare email delivery and engagement across recipient mailbox domains (domain names only, no addresses).
  • get_email_stats_by_sending_domain: Compare email delivery and engagement across your sending domains.
  • get_email_stats_by_sending_ip: Compare email delivery and bounce types across your sending IPs, including the IP pool of each.
  • get_email_stats_by_template: Compare email delivery and engagement across your email templates.
  • get_email_health: Get the overall sending health status and each deliverability signal (metric, value, limit and thresholds) for a window.

BYOK key

You bring your own Bird Email Stats Bird workspace API key (bk_...) (https://bird.com/docs/guides/authentication). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to us1.platform.bird.com, eu1.platform.bird.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
