What Bird SMS Stats (BYOK) is for

Bird SMS Stats (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Bird SMS Stats data through the Bird SMS Stats API with a key you supply (Bird workspace API key (bk_...)). Read-only: 12 tools (get_sms_stats_daily, get_sms_stats_hourly, get_sms_stats_by_carrier, get_sms_stats_by_country, get_sms_stats_by_error_code, get_sms_stats_by_originator, get_sms_stats_by_status, get_sms_stats_by_tag, get_sms_stats_by_category, get_sms_inbound_stats_summary, get_sms_inbound_stats_daily, get_sms_inbound_stats_by_country). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to us1.platform.bird.com, eu1.platform.bird.com.   • "What are the most common SMS error codes on Bird this month?"
  • "Which sender ID has the best SMS delivery rate on Bird?"

What it does

  • get_sms_stats_daily: Get outbound SMS counts per day (accepted, sent, delivered, undelivered, failed, rejected, expired) with rates, optionally for one sender, country, category or carrier (only one filter at a time).
  • get_sms_stats_hourly: Get outbound SMS counts per hour with delivery rates, optionally for one sender, country, category or carrier (only one filter at a time).
  • get_sms_stats_by_carrier: Compare outbound SMS delivery and latency across the carriers that handled your messages, ranked by a chosen metric.
  • get_sms_stats_by_country: Compare outbound SMS delivery and latency by destination country, ranked by a chosen metric.
  • get_sms_stats_by_error_code: Count outbound SMS failures by error code, ranked by a chosen metric.
  • get_sms_stats_by_originator: Compare outbound SMS delivery by sender (originator) address, ranked by a chosen metric.
  • get_sms_stats_by_status: Count outbound SMS messages by lifecycle status for a period.
  • get_sms_stats_by_tag: Compare outbound SMS delivery by message tag, ranked by a chosen metric.
  • get_sms_stats_by_category: Compare outbound SMS delivery by message category, ranked by a chosen metric.
  • get_sms_inbound_stats_summary: Get the number of inbound SMS received in a period with a comparison to the previous period.
  • get_sms_inbound_stats_daily: Get the number of inbound SMS received per day.
  • get_sms_inbound_stats_by_country: Get inbound SMS volume by sender country, ranked by volume.

BYOK key

You bring your own Bird SMS Stats Bird workspace API key (bk_...) (https://bird.com/docs/guides/authentication). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to us1.platform.bird.com, eu1.platform.bird.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
