What Blogger (BYOK) is for

Blogger (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Blogger data through the Blogger API with a key you supply (Google API key (Blogger API v3 enabled)). Read-only: 9 tools (get_blog, get_blog_by_url, list_posts, get_post, search_posts, list_pages, get_page, list_post_comments, list_blog_comments). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to www.googleapis.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Blogger. Blogger and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "How many posts does the Blogger blog 2399953 have?"
  • "What is the Blogger blog id of buzz.blogger.com?"
  • "What are the latest posts on Blogger blog 2399953?"
  • "Show Blogger post 6755709643044947005 on blog 2399953"
  • "Search Blogger blog 2399953 for posts about 'search'"
  • "What static pages does Blogger blog 2399953 have?"

What it does

  • get_blog: Get a public blog by id: name, description, URL, published and updated dates, post count, page count and locale.
  • get_blog_by_url: Look up a public blog from its address (for example https://buzz.blogger.com/) and return its id, name, description and counts.
  • list_posts: List posts of a public blog, newest first by default, with title, URL, author, labels, dates and comment count. Bodies are left out unless asked for.
  • get_post: Get one post of a public blog by id, including its HTML body, labels, author, URL and comment count.
  • search_posts: Search the posts of one public blog for text and return matching titles, URLs, authors and dates.
  • list_pages: List the static pages of a public blog (About, Contact and similar) with title, URL, author and dates.
  • get_page: Get one static page of a public blog by its id, including the HTML body.
  • list_post_comments: List the public comments on one post with author, date, text and the parent comment when it is a reply.
  • list_blog_comments: List the latest public comments across a whole blog, with author, date, text and the post they belong to.

BYOK key

You bring your own Blogger Google API key (Blogger API v3 enabled) (https://console.cloud.google.com/apis/credentials). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to www.googleapis.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Blogger API (www.googleapis.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://developers.google.com/blogger/docs/3.0/using. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Blogger. Blogger and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Blogger account.
