What Bloomerang (BYOK) is for

Bloomerang (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Bloomerang data through the Bloomerang API with a key you supply (Bloomerang CRM private API key). Read-only: 11 tools (get_organization, list_constituents, search_constituents, get_constituent, list_transactions, list_designations, list_funds, list_campaigns, list_appeals, list_interactions, list_tasks). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.bloomerang.co. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Bloomerang organization is this key for?"
  • "Who are my newest Bloomerang constituents?"
  • "Find the Bloomerang donor named Smith"
  • "Show Bloomerang constituent 12345"
  • "What gifts did Bloomerang record this month?"
  • "How were Bloomerang gifts split across funds and campaigns?"

What it does

  • get_organization: Show the Bloomerang database the key belongs to: organization name, accounting integration and fiscal year start.
  • list_constituents: List constituents (individuals and organizations) with name, type, status, employer, engagement score and primary e-mail and city.
  • search_constituents: Search constituents and households by name or other text.
  • get_constituent: Get one constituent by id with names, status, employer, engagement score, primary address, e-mail and phone.
  • list_transactions: List financial transactions (donations, pledges, recurring) with account, date, amount, payment method and refund flag; filter by account, type or amount range.
  • list_designations: List transaction designations (the fund, campaign and appeal split of each gift) with amount, acknowledgement status and type (donation or pledge).
  • list_funds: List funds with name, default and active flags.
  • list_campaigns: List campaigns with name, start and end date, goal, amount raised and active flag.
  • list_appeals: List appeals with name and active flag.
  • list_interactions: List interactions (calls, e-mails, meetings) with date, channel, purpose, subject and note; filter by constituent id.
  • list_tasks: List follow-up tasks with constituent, status, due date, subject and note; filter by status or due date.

BYOK key

You bring your own Bloomerang Bloomerang CRM private API key (https://bloomerang.com/api/rest-api/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.bloomerang.co over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
