What Bookeo (BYOK) is for

Bookeo (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Bookeo data through the Bookeo API with a key you supply (Bookeo API key (the key issued when a business owner authorizes your application)). Read-only: 11 tools (get_business, get_api_key_info, list_products, list_availability_slots, list_bookings, get_booking, list_customer_bookings, list_customers, list_payments, list_resources, list_people_categories). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.bookeo.com. What it does

  • get_business: Show the business behind the key: name, description, website, contact email and address.
  • get_api_key_info: Show the account id, the permissions granted to this key and when it was created.
  • list_products: List the products (tours, classes, appointments) offered, with type, duration, default rates and booking limits.
  • list_availability_slots: List bookable time slots with seats left for fixed-time products in a date range (at most 31 days).
  • list_bookings: List bookings that start in a time window (at most 31 days), with product, times, cancellation flag, party size and price totals.
  • get_booking: Get one booking by its booking number with product, times, status, party size, resources and price totals.
  • list_customer_bookings: List all bookings of one customer, optionally within a date range.
  • list_customers: List or search customers by name or email with booking, cancellation and no-show counts and membership status (contact details are left out).
  • list_payments: List payments received, filtered by time period or method, with amount, method, reason and gateway.
  • list_resources: List bookable resources such as guides, rooms or equipment, grouped by resource type.
  • list_people_categories: List the participant categories (adult, child and so on) and how many seats each takes.

BYOK key

You bring your own Bookeo Bookeo API key (the key issued when a business owner authorizes your application) (https://www.bookeo.com/api/setup/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.bookeo.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
