What Browser Use (BYOK) is for

Browser Use (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Browser Use data through the Browser Use API with a key you supply (Browser Use Cloud API key (starts with bu_)). Read-only: 12 tools (get_account, list_runs, get_run, list_sessions, get_session_cost, list_browsers, get_browser, list_profiles, list_extensions, list_integrations, get_workspace_size, list_workspace_files). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.browser-use.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Browser Use. Browser Use and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "How many Browser Use credits do I have left?"
  • "Which Browser Use agent runs failed recently?"
  • "What did Browser Use run run_1 cost?"
  • "Which Browser Use agent sessions are busy?"
  • "How much has Browser Use session ses_1 cost?"
  • "Which Browser Use browsers are active right now?"

What it does

  • get_account: Get the account behind the key: project id, plan, credit balances, concurrent session limit and active session count.
  • list_runs: List agent runs, newest first, with task, model, status, token counts and cost; filter by session. Results and outputs are not shown.
  • get_run: Get one agent run: task, model, status, error, token counts and total cost (the result text is not shown).
  • list_sessions: List agent sessions (one row per session, showing its latest run) with task, status and times.
  • get_session_cost: Get what an agent session has cost so far, split into model, search, browser and proxy cost, with run count and proxy traffic.
  • list_browsers: List cloud browser sessions with status, start and finish time, proxy traffic and cost; filter by active or stopped. Live and CDP connection URLs are not shown.
  • get_browser: Get one cloud browser session: status, times, proxy traffic, costs, metadata and whether a recording exists (connection URLs are not shown).
  • list_profiles: List browser profiles (saved cookies and login state for reuse) with name, last used and created time.
  • list_extensions: List the Chrome extensions uploaded to the project with name and version.
  • list_integrations: List the apps Browser Use agents can connect to (Gmail, Slack, GitHub and more) with category and whether this project has connected each.
  • get_workspace_size: Get storage used and the plan's storage limit for an agent workspace, in bytes.
  • list_workspace_files: List the files an agent produced in a workspace with path, size and last modified time (no download links).

BYOK key

You bring your own Browser Use Browser Use Cloud API key (starts with bu_) (https://cloud.browser-use.com/settings?tab=api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.browser-use.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Browser Use API (api.browser-use.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.browser-use.com/cloud/api-v4-overview.md. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Browser Use. Browser Use and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Browser Use account.
