What BrowserStack (BYOK) is for

BrowserStack (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own BrowserStack data through the BrowserStack API with a key you supply (username). Read-only: 6 tools (get_plan, list_projects, get_project, list_builds, list_build_sessions, get_session). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.browserstack.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by BrowserStack. BrowserStack and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "How many parallel BrowserStack sessions are running and how many are allowed?"
  • "Which Automate projects do I have on BrowserStack?"
  • "Show the builds of a BrowserStack Automate project"
  • "Which BrowserStack builds failed recently?"
  • "Which sessions of this BrowserStack build failed and on which browsers?"
  • "What happened in this BrowserStack test session?"

What it does

  • get_plan: Show the BrowserStack Automate plan: plan name, parallel sessions running and allowed, queued sessions and queue limit.
  • list_projects: List BrowserStack Automate projects with id, name, group and dates.
  • get_project: Get one BrowserStack Automate project with its builds (id, name, duration, status, framework).
  • list_builds: List recent BrowserStack Automate builds (10 by default, up to 100) with name, status, duration and hashed id, optionally filtered by status or project.
  • list_build_sessions: List the test sessions of a BrowserStack Automate build with name, status, OS, browser or device, duration and reason. Signed log and video links are not returned.
  • get_session: Get one BrowserStack Automate session by id: name, status, reason, OS, browser or device, duration, build and project.

BYOK key

You bring your own BrowserStack username (https://www.browserstack.com/accounts/profile/details). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.browserstack.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Notices

This connector covers the Automate (Selenium) REST API. App Automate and other BrowserStack products use other hosts and are not included.

Data sources

Live from the BrowserStack API (api.browserstack.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://www.browserstack.com/docs/automate/api-reference/selenium/automate-api. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by BrowserStack. BrowserStack and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your BrowserStack account.
