What BugSnag (BYOK) is for

BugSnag (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own BugSnag data through the BugSnag API with a key you supply (personal auth token). Read-only: 9 tools (list_organizations, list_projects, get_project, list_errors, get_error, list_error_events, list_project_events, list_releases, get_stability_trend). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.bugsnag.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by BugSnag. BugSnag and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which BugSnag organizations am I in?"
  • "Which projects do we have in BugSnag and how many open errors does each have?"
  • "Show details of BugSnag project 5f3d1c0a9b2e4a001c1a2b3c"
  • "What are the most recently seen errors in my BugSnag project?"
  • "How many users hit BugSnag error 5f3d1c0a9b2e4a001c1a2b3d?"
  • "Show the latest occurrences of BugSnag error 5f3d1c0a9b2e4a001c1a2b3d"

What it does

  • list_organizations: List the BugSnag organizations the token's user belongs to, with id, name and slug. Start here to find project lists.
  • list_projects: List the projects of an organization with language, release stages and open error counts.
  • get_project: Get one project: name, language, release stages, open and for-review error counts and links.
  • list_errors: List a project's errors (grouped crashes) with class, message, status, severity, event and user counts and first and last seen.
  • get_error: Get one error of a project: class, message, status, severity, assignment, event and user counts, first and last seen.
  • list_error_events: List individual occurrences (events) of one error, newest first, with time, message, severity, release stage and whether it was unhandled.
  • list_project_events: List the latest events across a whole project, newest first, with error class, message, severity and release stage.
  • list_releases: List a project's releases with version, release stage, time, error counts and session counts. Default 5 per call.
  • get_stability_trend: Show the project's stability over time: sessions and unhandled sessions per time bucket.

BYOK key

You bring your own BugSnag personal auth token (https://docs.bugsnag.com/api/data-access/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.bugsnag.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the BugSnag API (api.bugsnag.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.bugsnag.com/api/data-access/. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by BugSnag. BugSnag and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your BugSnag account.
