What Cal.com Availability (BYOK) is for

Cal.com Availability (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Cal.com Availability data through the Cal.com Availability API with a key you supply (Cal.com API key (starts with cal_live_)). Read-only: 7 tools (list_schedules, get_default_schedule, get_schedule, get_my_profile, list_conferencing_apps, get_default_conferencing_app, list_webhooks). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.cal.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Cal.com Availability. Cal.com Availability and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "What availability schedules do I have in Cal.com?"
  • "What are my default working hours in Cal.com?"
  • "Show my Cal.com schedule 1"
  • "Which Cal.com time zone and default schedule is my account using?"
  • "Which video conferencing apps are connected to my Cal.com account?"
  • "What is my default Cal.com conferencing app?"

What it does

  • list_schedules: List your availability schedules: name, time zone, default flag, weekly working-hour windows and date overrides.
  • get_default_schedule: Get your default availability schedule with weekly windows and date overrides.
  • get_schedule: Get one availability schedule by id with weekly windows and date overrides.
  • get_my_profile: Show the profile settings of the key's account that affect scheduling: username, name, time zone, week start, time format and default schedule id (e-mail is not returned).
  • list_conferencing_apps: List the conferencing apps connected to your account with credential id, app type and whether the connection is invalid.
  • get_default_conferencing_app: Get the default conferencing app slug and its link used for new bookings.
  • list_webhooks: List the webhooks of your account with id, active flag, subscribed triggers and owner. The target URL, secret and payload template are not returned.

BYOK key

You bring your own Cal.com Availability Cal.com API key (starts with cal_live_) (https://app.cal.com/settings/developer/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.cal.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Cal.com Availability API (api.cal.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://cal.com/docs/api-reference/v2/introduction. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not
