What Camb AI (BYOK) is for

Camb AI (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Camb AI data through the Camb AI API with a key you supply (CAMB.AI API key). Read-only: 9 tools (list_voices, list_flows, list_stream_templates, get_tts_task_status, get_dubbing_task_status, get_translation_task_status, get_transcription_task_status, get_sound_task_status, get_audio_separation_task_status). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to client.camb.ai. What it does

  • list_voices: List every voice the account can use (public, custom and shared), with gender code (1 male, 2 female), age and language.
  • list_flows: List the SRT flows (standing live-stream endpoints) of the team and whether each is online.
  • list_stream_templates: List the saved live-stream templates of the workspace.
  • get_tts_task_status: Check whether a CAMB.AI text-to-speech task is pending, finished (SUCCESS), timed out or failed, and get the run id to fetch its result.
  • get_dubbing_task_status: Check whether a CAMB.AI end-to-end dubbing task is pending, finished (SUCCESS), timed out or failed, and get the run id to fetch its result.
  • get_translation_task_status: Check whether a CAMB.AI translation task is pending, finished (SUCCESS), timed out or failed, and get the run id to fetch its result.
  • get_transcription_task_status: Check whether a CAMB.AI transcription task is pending, finished (SUCCESS), timed out or failed, and get the run id to fetch its result.
  • get_sound_task_status: Check whether a CAMB.AI sound and music generation task is pending, finished (SUCCESS), timed out or failed, and get the run id to fetch its result.
  • get_audio_separation_task_status: Check whether a CAMB.AI audio separation task is pending, finished (SUCCESS), timed out or failed, and get the run id to fetch its result.

BYOK key

You bring your own Camb AI CAMB.AI API key (https://studio.camb.ai/). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to client.camb.ai over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
