What Campfire (BYOK) is for

Campfire (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Campfire data through the Campfire API with a key you supply (Campfire API key). Read-only: 10 tools (list_invoices, list_bills, list_vendors, list_accounts, list_departments, list_entities, list_budgets, list_fixed_assets, list_contracts, get_trial_balance). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.meetcampfire.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Campfire. Campfire and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Campfire invoices are past due?"
  • "Which Campfire vendor bills are still unpaid?"
  • "Which vendors does my company have in Campfire?"
  • "What accounts are in my Campfire chart of accounts and what are their balances?"
  • "Which departments are set up in Campfire?"
  • "Which entities and currencies does my Campfire account have?"

What it does

  • list_invoices: List customer invoices with number, customer name, status, total, paid and due amounts, invoice and due dates and the entity. Customer emails and addresses are not returned.
  • list_bills: List vendor bills (accounts payable) with vendor, status, amounts, bill and due dates.
  • list_vendors: List vendors and customers with name, type, status, country and 1099 flag. Contact details, tax ids and notes are not returned.
  • list_accounts: List the chart of accounts with number, name, type, subtype, status, currency and current balance.
  • list_departments: List departments with code, name, display name and active flag.
  • list_entities: List the legal entities with name, currency, fiscal year start, active flag and parent entity.
  • list_budgets: List budgets with name, entity, department, cadence, period count, start and end dates and currency.
  • list_fixed_assets: List fixed assets with name, class, status, purchase date, initial value, salvage value, net book value and depreciation dates.
  • list_contracts: List revenue contracts with client, entity, total contract value, MRR, deferred revenue, start and end dates and billing frequency.
  • get_trial_balance: Get the trial balance for a period, optionally for one entity or department.

BYOK key

You bring your own Campfire Campfire API key (https://app.meetcampfire.com/v2/settings/api-keys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.meetcampfire.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Campfire API (api.meetcampfire.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://docs.campfire.ai/quickstart. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Campfire. Campfire and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Campfire account.
