What Chargebee Coupons (BYOK) is for

Chargebee Coupons (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Chargebee Coupons data through the Chargebee Coupons API with a key you supply (Chargebee API key (a read-only key is enough)). Read-only: 6 tools (list_coupons, get_coupon, list_coupon_sets, get_coupon_set, list_coupon_codes, get_coupon_code). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to *.chargebee.com. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which Chargebee coupons are active?"
  • "How often was Chargebee coupon SUMMER25 redeemed?"
  • "How many codes of each coupon set were redeemed?"
  • "How many codes are left in coupon set summer-batch-1?"
  • "Which codes of coupon SUMMER25 are still unredeemed?"
  • "Was coupon code WELCOME-AB12 redeemed?"

What it does

  • list_coupons: List Chargebee coupons with discount type, amount or percentage, duration, validity window, redemption count and status. Timestamps are Unix seconds. Amounts are in the smallest currency unit.
  • get_coupon: Get one Chargebee coupon by id: discount, duration, validity window, redemption count and status.
  • list_coupon_sets: List Chargebee coupon sets (batches of generated codes for one coupon) with total, redeemed and archived code counts.
  • get_coupon_set: Get one Chargebee coupon set by id with its coupon and code counts.
  • list_coupon_codes: List Chargebee coupon codes with status (not redeemed, redeemed, archived), coupon and coupon set.
  • get_coupon_code: Get one Chargebee coupon code: status, coupon and coupon set.

BYOK key

You bring your own Chargebee Coupons Chargebee API key (a read-only key is enough) (https://apidocs.chargebee.com/docs/api/auth). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to *.chargebee.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
