What CHIP Collect (BYOK) is for

CHIP Collect (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own CHIP Collect data through the CHIP Collect API with a key you supply (CHIP Collect secret key (the key can also create purchases and refunds; this connector only reads)). Read-only: 7 tools (get_purchase, get_company_balance, get_company_turnover, list_payment_methods, list_statements, get_statement, list_webhooks). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to gate.chip-in.asia. What it does

  • get_purchase: Get one purchase by id: status, amount paid, fee, net amount, currency, payment method, reference, refund availability and key timestamps. Customer details are not returned.
  • get_company_balance: Get the company balance per currency: balance, fees, reserved, pending outgoing and available amounts in the smallest currency unit. Currency is required.
  • get_company_turnover: Get incoming and outgoing turnover, fees and transaction counts for exactly one currency in a time window.
  • list_payment_methods: List the payment methods CHIP can offer for a brand, currency and amount (FPX, cards, e-wallets, DuitNow QR), with names and logos.
  • list_statements: List scheduled or finished company statements with status, format, period, creation time and download link.
  • get_statement: Get one company statement by id: status, format and download link once finished.
  • list_webhooks: List the webhook endpoints registered on the account with title, subscribed events and callback URL.

BYOK key

You bring your own CHIP Collect CHIP Collect secret key (the key can also create purchases and refunds; this connector only reads) (https://docs.chip-in.asia/chip-collect/overview/authentication). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to gate.chip-in.asia over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
