What Cincopa (BYOK) is for

Cincopa (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Cincopa data through the Cincopa API with a key you supply (Cincopa API token (a read-only permission level is enough)). Read-only: 7 tools (ping, list_assets, list_asset_tags, list_galleries, get_gallery_items, list_portals, list_live_streams). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.cincopa.com. Cincopa and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Is my Cincopa API token valid and what can it do?"
  • "Which videos do I have in Cincopa?"
  • "Which tags are used on my Cincopa assets?"
  • "Which galleries do I have in Cincopa?"
  • "What videos are in this Cincopa gallery?"
  • "Which Cincopa portals do I have?"

What it does

  • ping: Check that the token is valid and show the account id and the permission string granted to the token (email is not returned).
  • list_assets: List media assets (videos, images, audio, other) with optional search text, type, tag, resource id or reference id filter, 50 per page by default.
  • list_asset_tags: List all asset tags with the number of assets carrying each.
  • list_galleries: List galleries (players/albums) with id, name, description, tags, last modified date and sync status.
  • get_gallery_items: List the media items inside one gallery.
  • list_portals: List portals (video portal sites) of the account.
  • list_live_streams: List live streams with their usage quota figures.

BYOK key

You bring your own Cincopa Cincopa API token (a read-only permission level is enough) (https://developer.cincopa.com/guides/general/permissions-in-api-token). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.cincopa.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
