What Claap (BYOK) is for
Claap (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Claap data through the Claap API with a key you supply (workspace API key). Read-only: 12 tools (get_workspace, list_recordings, get_recording, get_recording_transcript, list_recording_views, list_deals, get_deal, list_deal_stages, list_companies, list_contacts, list_users, list_user_groups). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.claap.io. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Claap. Claap and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Claap workspace is my key for?"
- "What customer calls did Claap record this week?"
- "Summarize the Claap recording rec_abc123"
- "What was said in the Claap recording rec_abc123?"
- "What recording views are set up in Claap?"
- "Which open deals does Claap have?"
What it does

BYOK key
You bring your own Claap workspace API key (https://docs.claap.io/api-reference/authentication). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.claap.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
Notices
Read-only. A Claap key belongs to a workspace; private recordings are only visible when the key has full access. Recordings, transcripts and CRM data contain personal data.
