What CloudAMQP (BYOK) is for

CloudAMQP (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own CloudAMQP data through the CloudAMQP API with a key you supply (CloudAMQP API key (sent as the Basic-auth password, empty username)). Read-only: 10 tools (list_instances, get_instance, list_vpcs, get_vpc, list_invoices, get_invoice, get_invoice_for_period, list_plans, list_regions, list_team_roles). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to customer.cloudamqp.com. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which CloudAMQP instances do I run and in which regions?"
  • "Is my CloudAMQP instance 12345 ready and which RabbitMQ version does it run?"
  • "What VPCs do I have on CloudAMQP?"

  • "What did CloudAMQP invoice me this year?"
  • "Show the line items of CloudAMQP invoice 987"

What it does

  • list_instances: List the CloudAMQP instances of the account with name, plan, region, readiness, RabbitMQ version, tags and VPC (connection URLs and keys are not returned).
  • get_instance: Get one instance: name, plan, region, readiness, RabbitMQ version, tags, VPC and external hostname (connection URL and instance key are not returned).
  • list_vpcs: List the VPCs of the account with name, region, subnet and the instances inside.
  • get_vpc: Get one VPC with region, subnet, tags and its instances.
  • list_invoices: List invoices with period, number, paid flag, total and currency, optionally within a year-month range.
  • get_invoice: Get one invoice by id with its period, total, currency and line items.
  • get_invoice_for_period: Get the invoice for a given year and month, including line items; use next month to see the upcoming invoice.
  • list_plans: List the available CloudAMQP subscription plans with price, backend software and whether the plan is shared.
  • list_regions: List the cloud providers and regions where CloudAMQP instances can be created.
  • list_team_roles: List team members of the account with id, roles and whether two-factor authentication is enabled (email addresses are not returned).

BYOK key

You bring your own CloudAMQP CloudAMQP API key (sent as the Basic-auth password, empty username) (https://customer.cloudamqp.com/apikeys). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to customer.cloudamqp.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
