What Cloudflare DEX (BYOK) is for
Cloudflare DEX (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Cloudflare DEX data through the Cloudflare DEX API with a key you supply (Cloudflare API token with Zero Trust read permission). Read-only: 6 tools (list_dex_tests, get_dex_test, get_tests_overview, get_fleet_status_live, list_colos, get_remote_commands_quota). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.cloudflare.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Cloudflare DEX. Cloudflare DEX and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which DEX synthetic tests run on my devices?"
- "Show DEX test 372e67954025e0ba6aaa6d586b9e0b59"
- "How available are my DEX tests?"
- "How many devices are connected right now and on which platforms?"
- "Which Cloudflare colos did my devices use last week?"
- "How many DEX remote commands have I used this period?"
What it does
list_dex_tests: List DEX synthetic tests (HTTP and traceroute) with target host, interval, enabled flag and dates.get_dex_test: Get one DEX synthetic test with target host, interval, enabled flag and dates.get_tests_overview: Get availability analytics of DEX tests: average HTTP and traceroute availability percentages, number of tests and the per-test result summaries. Aggregate figures only: no per-device or per-user records are returned.get_fleet_status_live: Get live aggregate counts of WARP devices by colo, mode, platform, status and client version for the last few minutes. Aggregate figures only: no per-device or per-user records are returned.list_colos: List the Cloudflare colos (airport code, city, country) seen by DEX in a time period, optionally sorted by usage.get_remote_commands_quota: Show the account's DEX remote commands usage, quota and reset time.
BYOK key
You bring your own Cloudflare DEX Cloudflare API token with Zero Trust read permission (https://dash.cloudflare.com/profile/api-tokens). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.cloudflare.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

What it is not
Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Cloudflare DEX. Cloudflare DEX and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Cloudflare DEX account.
