What Cloudflare Images (BYOK) is for

Cloudflare Images (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Cloudflare Images data through the Cloudflare Images API with a key you supply (Cloudflare API token with Images read permission). Read-only: 6 tools (list_images, list_images_cursor, get_image, get_images_usage, list_variants, get_variant). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.cloudflare.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Cloudflare Images. Cloudflare Images and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "What images are in my Cloudflare Images library?"
  • "Page through my Cloudflare Images newest first."
  • "Show Cloudflare Images image 2cdc28f0-017a-49c4-9ed7-87056c83901"
  • "How many images am I storing in Cloudflare Images versus my limit?"
  • "What image variants are set up in Cloudflare Images?"
  • "Show the thumbnail variant in Cloudflare Images."

What it does

  • list_images: List images stored in Cloudflare Images with id, filename, upload date, creator, signed-URL flag, custom metadata and delivery URLs. Paged by number.
  • list_images_cursor: List images using a continuation token (version 2 listing), newest or oldest first, optionally for one creator.
  • get_image: Get one image's id, filename, upload date, creator, metadata, signed-URL requirement and delivery URLs for each variant.
  • get_images_usage: Show how many images are stored and how many the plan allows.
  • list_variants: List the image variants (named resize presets) defined in the account with fit, width, height and metadata options.
  • get_variant: Get one image variant's resize options and whether it ignores the signed-URL requirement.

BYOK key

You bring your own Cloudflare Images Cloudflare API token with Images read permission (https://dash.cloudflare.com/profile/api-tokens). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.cloudflare.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Cloudflare Images API (api.cloudflare.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://developers.cloudflare.com/images/. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Cloudflare Images. Cloudflare Images and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Cloudflare Images account.
