What Cloudflare Spectrum (BYOK) is for

Cloudflare Spectrum (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Cloudflare Spectrum data through the Cloudflare Spectrum API with a key you supply (Cloudflare API token with Zone Spectrum read permission). Read-only: 5 tools (list_applications, get_application, list_protocols, get_current_analytics, get_zones_bandwidth_report). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.cloudflare.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Cloudflare Spectrum. Cloudflare Spectrum and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.

Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which TCP or UDP services do I proxy through Cloudflare Spectrum?"
  • "How is Spectrum application ea95132c configured?"
  • "Which protocols does Cloudflare Spectrum support?"
  • "How much traffic did my Spectrum apps handle?"
  • "How much Spectrum bandwidth did each of my zones use?"

What it does

  • list_applications: List the Spectrum applications of a zone with protocol, DNS name, origin, TLS mode, traffic type and Argo and IP firewall flags.
  • get_application: Get one Spectrum application: protocol, DNS name, origin, TLS mode, proxy protocol and traffic type.
  • list_protocols: List the protocols Spectrum can proxy, with description, transport and ports.
  • get_current_analytics: Get the current aggregated Spectrum traffic per application: bytes in and out, connections and average duration.
  • get_zones_bandwidth_report: Get the user-level Spectrum bandwidth totals (ingress, egress, all) per zone for a time range.

BYOK key

You bring your own Cloudflare Spectrum Cloudflare API token with Zone Spectrum read permission (https://dash.cloudflare.com/profile/api-tokens). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.cloudflare.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.

Data sources

Live from the Cloudflare Spectrum API (api.cloudflare.com) with a BYOK key; documentation: https://developers.cloudflare.com/api/resources/spectrum/. Endpoints checked against that documentation on 2026-10-16.

What it is not

Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Cloudflare Spectrum. Cloudflare Spectrum and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with. It is read-only: it never creates, changes, sends or deletes anything in your Cloudflare Spectrum account.
