What Cloudflare Workers Storage (BYOK) is for
Cloudflare Workers Storage (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Cloudflare Workers Storage data through the Cloudflare Workers Storage API with a key you supply (Cloudflare API token with Workers KV Storage and Workers Scripts read permission). Read-only: 6 tools (list_kv_namespaces, get_kv_namespace, list_kv_keys, get_kv_key_metadata, list_durable_object_namespaces, list_durable_objects). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.cloudflare.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Cloudflare Workers Storage. Cloudflare Workers Storage and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Workers KV namespaces do I have?"
- "What is the title of KV namespace 0f2ac74b498b48028cb68387c421e279?"
- "Which keys start with user: in my KV namespace?"
- "What metadata is attached to the key user:123 in my KV namespace?"
- "Which Durable Object classes are deployed in my account?"
- "How many Durable Objects of ChatRoom hold data?"
What it does
list_kv_namespaces: List the Workers KV namespaces of an account with id and title.get_kv_namespace: Get one Workers KV namespace: title, id and URL-encoding support.list_kv_keys: List the key names of a Workers KV namespace with expiration and metadata (not the stored values). Pass the returned cursor to page.get_kv_key_metadata: Get the metadata JSON attached to one key of a Workers KV namespace (not its value).list_durable_object_namespaces: List the Durable Object namespaces of an account with id, name, class, script and SQLite flag.list_durable_objects: List the object ids in a Durable Object namespace and whether each has stored data. Pass the returned cursor to page.
BYOK key
You bring your own Cloudflare Workers Storage Cloudflare API token with Workers KV Storage and Workers Scripts read permission (https://dash.cloudflare.com/profile/api-tokens). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.cloudflare.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
