What Cloudflare Workflows (BYOK) is for
Cloudflare Workflows (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Cloudflare Workflows data through the Cloudflare Workflows API with a key you supply (Cloudflare API token with Workers Scripts read permission). Read-only: 9 tools (list_workflows, get_workflow, list_instances, get_instance, list_versions, get_version, list_concurrency_keys, get_concurrency_key, get_workflow_settings). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to api.cloudflare.com. Unofficial connector by Unify Dynamics LLC: not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Cloudflare Workflows. Cloudflare Workflows and its logos are trademarks of their owners and are used only to say which service the connector works with.
Ask your assistant things like:
- "Which Cloudflare Workflows are deployed and how many instances errored?"
- "How many instances of Workflow order-pipeline are running?"
- "Which runs of Workflow order-pipeline failed?"
- "Why did Workflow instance f0a1b2c3 fail?"
- "Which versions of Workflow order-pipeline were deployed?"
- "What are the limits of Workflow version a1b2c3d4?"
What it does
list_workflows: List the Workflows of an account with class, script, dates and instance counts by status.get_workflow: Get one Workflow: class, script, schedules, instance counts by status and trigger time.list_instances: List the instances of a Workflow with status, trigger source and start and end times. Instance payloads are not returned.get_instance: Get the status of one Workflow instance: start and end times, step count, success flag, trigger source and any error message. Step outputs and parameters are not returned.list_versions: List the deployed versions of a Workflow with language, step limit, concurrency limit and dates.get_version: Get one Workflow version: class, language, limits, retention and DAG availability.list_concurrency_keys: List Workflow concurrency keys with name and limit.get_concurrency_key: Get one concurrency key with its limit and the Workflow versions that reference it.get_workflow_settings: Get the account-wide Workflows settings: default retention in seconds for successful and errored instances.
BYOK key
You bring your own Cloudflare Workflows Cloudflare API token with Workers Scripts read permission (https://dash.cloudflare.com/profile/api-tokens). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to api.cloudflare.com over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
