What Coalesce Transform (BYOK) is for

Coalesce Transform (BYOK) lets an AI assistant read your own Coalesce Transform data through the Coalesce Transform API with a key you supply (Coalesce API token). Read-only: 9 tools (list_projects, get_project, list_environments, get_environment, list_environment_nodes, list_workspace_nodes, list_runs, get_run, list_run_results). The BYOK key travels with each request, is used for that one call only and is never stored, logged or cached; it is only ever sent to app.coalescesoftware.io. Ask your assistant things like:

  • "Which projects exist in my Coalesce organization?"
  • "Show Coalesce project 1 with its workspaces and jobs"
  • "Which Coalesce environments exist and what is their status?"
  • "What commit is deployed in Coalesce environment 1?"
  • "Which nodes are deployed in Coalesce environment 1?"
  • "Which nodes are in Coalesce workspace 1?"

What it does

  • list_projects: List Coalesce projects of the organization with name, description, Git repository URL, status and timestamps; optionally with nested workspaces and jobs.
  • get_project: Get one Coalesce project by id with name, description, Git repository URL, status and optionally its workspaces and jobs.
  • list_environments: List Coalesce environments with project, status and creator. Cursor paginated.
  • get_environment: Get one Coalesce environment: project, status, Git branch and commit, deployed commit, storage mapping, running jobs and timestamps.
  • list_environment_nodes: List the nodes (tables, views and other objects) deployed in an environment with type, database, schema and location. Cursor paginated.
  • list_workspace_nodes: List the nodes in a development workspace with type, database, schema and location. Cursor paginated.
  • list_runs: List Coalesce runs, newest first by default, with type, status, environment, start and end time, failure reason and test failure flag.
  • get_run: Get one Coalesce run: type, status, start and end time, nodes in the run, selectors, parallelism and test failure flag.
  • list_run_results: List the per-node results of a Coalesce run: node id and name, run state, origin, running and test failure flags. Query SQL and row counts are not included.

BYOK key

You bring your own Coalesce Transform Coalesce API token (https://docs.coalesce.io/docs/api). Your assistant sends it in the X-Upstream-Key header with each request. ConnectorBay uses it for that one call only: it is never stored, logged or cached, never shown in an answer, and it is only sent to app.coalescesoftware.io over https, with no redirects followed. Create a key with the fewest permissions the tools need (read-only if the provider offers it), and revoke it at the provider whenever you like.
